You should get out more!

Oh come on! There is a thread like this after every away game that we take a decent following to!

Boys will be boys and all that and if you were that offended by it why not do something about it like move or report it to a steward? Allot easier to wait until you get home and moan about it on the internet.

I'm really not that easily offended, to be honest, but I'll accept that your attitude and perception of what is acceptable changes drastically when you have small children with you, compared to when you are there with a group of mates.

I'm not a dick though, and I'm sure you aren't either. We all know that people will swear and indulge in a bit of banter at games. We both know, however, that there are accepted limits - and I'm telling you that these guys went way beyond them.

Moving was not an option - the stand was rammed. I did consider reporting them to a steward, but decided against it as being that I was stood directly in front of them, and I had my lad with me, I really didn't want a scene. If I'd gone and had a moan to a steward, and the stewards had come over and given them a telling off, which is surely all they would have done (at least in the first instance), how much fun would it have been to have been stood there for the next hour, do you think?

Money on it they are at Watford - probably a bigger group for that game - good luck with your seat allocation.

Isn't this what seat/ticket accountability is for. What is the point of all the registering and fan number stuff if it is no use to the paying customers on occasions like this.
There appears to be enough evidence from a variety of fans, that these people broke the law and terms and conditions of their tickets. Report the incident and seat numbers to the Albion and see if they fancy doing any thing.

My point was we have people moaning about things like after every "big" game. Are people really that surprised that at these games a) people will turn up drunk b) possibly act up a little bit?

If they were behaving as bad as some people were making out then surely the stewards and/or police would have done something about it. Granted it a lose lose situation because if that had of been the case they'd be the exact opposite thread on here from people moaning about the stewards being over zealous.

Think it's always going to be the case that local games where we take a big following there are going to be people there who might want to do more than shout "ra ra ra c'mon Brighton". Trouble with all seater games is you could end up sat next to Liz Costa and her merry bunch of knitters or Dave the Hooli and his drongo mates.

How many people on Saturday actually sat in the seat they were allocated? I certainly didn't. We turned up shortly after kick off and the steward told us where to sit.

.

We were right up the back, so the stewards wouldn't have seen / heard them so that explains that part.

I'm not 'making out' anything about their behaviour. I've said here EXACTLY what they said / did. Its up to each of us, whether we consider it acceptable, or unnacceptable.

Personally I think they crossed the line. Poidy here clearly does too. I could see that many others around us agreed, but these guys were oblivious to all the glares they were getting. That's their call, I guess. Its not my place to go getting someone chucked out - perhaps they're not wankers at every game. I'd hate for someone to lose their Amex season ticket off the back of someone grassing them up for some one-off pissed up nonsense. By the same token, if the stewards themselves had clocked them and slung them out, I wouldn't have been arguing on their behalf, that's for sure.

Use the video on your phone, record their faces, the seats they sat in etc, send it to the Albion, the police, post it here. Name & shame.

Anyone who thinks its OK to behave like these bigots will change their tune only when this sort of "supporter" is attacking them or someone they care about

When you are stood TWO FEET away from them? That would have gone down well!

Try travelling with millwall or West ham away makes ours seem like kinda garden boys .... and one thing for sure you would never see them at the aforementioned grounds

The stewards at Withdean are constantly checking for this sort of behaviour; as such, the onus isn't put on somebody putting in a complaint and suffering the consequences
