Another question. I see the Albion owe £13m. Who do they owe it to, and how will it be re-paid? If Falmer is turned down, will it become another Leeds United? If any money is owed to the tax payer, through either the revenue or local taxes, money for tradesmen etc., can it still lay claim to being a community club?

You wish we'd be in danger of going under like Leeds! It's simply not going to happen. The money is owed to directors, and will be converted to shares when possible.

Anyway, rather than confuse you with too many questions, I'll refer you back up to ROSMs - please answer his

:)

sorry antifalmer - you seem to have ignored my question. Can I please have your wisdom.

Thanks as always

go on - give it a go. On the argus forum you used this nugget to try and get peopke to agree with you. I'd like to know the accuracy of that nugget

Just say the numbers. You clearly believe you have the answer. So why not just say it straight out? I think I asked before? Not sure what point you're making unless you're unsure of your "facts".........

Nothing I have read here makes me feel any different about the stadium. Keep going. It is amazing how differently you guys see the stadium issue from the Falmer residents and LDC and their voters.

No but then again you'll never change your mind and thats obvious even when you choose to believe inaccuracies....and you'll also choose to voice an opinion on behalf of some people who don't agree with you (some Falmer Residents and many of the voters of LDC)...so I wouldn't flatter yourself by talking on behalf of people...

Now say the same thing to yourself. Answer ROSM and back up the "facts" of your claim.

What is more amazing is how ignorant you appear to be on the subject you've been spouting off about. What is clear to me now is that in your mind if the decision is 'No' then that'll be the planning process running its correct course, and if the decision is 'Yes' then that is a purely political decision that sweeps aside all of the relevant planning guidelines. It doesn't matter how many times the inaccuracies in your arguments are debunked by people who have actually attended the Inquiries, read the reports and researched the relevant legal processes (and many people who have posted on here have done just that), you will always think that you know better. You are right, we do have a different view on the stadium issue, its called an informed one.

Erm, just how do you know how they feel about it ? You don't even live there. Don't tell me that you actually go sight seeing there and have polled the residents, have you ?

I am pretty sure that the vast majority of LDC residents would rather have had their Council Tax spent on rather more important issues. Heaven forbid that Lewes would have had a similar rainfull as Yorkshire last month.

Wow! That IS breathtaking arrogance - believing that he can speak on behalf of various groups people whose opinion he has not asked for nor whose permission he has gained. A bit like LDC, I suppose.

Coming to a conculsion, then using inaccurate evidence, hearsay and, in some cases, downright lies as a justification for that decision is never a way to win hearts and minds of adversaries.

I think that whatever we say to antifalmer he is just like a typical politician in a way that he just wont accept anything thats said to him, in other words its pretty damn pointless to continue this spat because no matter how much of a fool he makes himself, no matter how much we tell him the TRUTH it just wont get through.
Unfortunatley there are people out there in NIMBY land who just wont listen to the hardcore facts and accept them no matter how much we bang on about it.

Still its in the hands of Hazel now, roll on the YES word!

The Argus thread on falmer ran for many years and ran into 100's of pages. It was probably lost in the last revamp.

At 1st there was natural trepidation & concerns but gradually real concerns like traffic and the 'beauty' of the site were answered.

It was the 'anti' arguments about football thugs and the constant nonsence about other sites (which any loca could see why they wouldn't work) along with the many reasoned arguments in favour of Falmer, that actually won many around to the cause.

With LDC resorting to downright lies & misleading info, like the pictures of other parts of the Downs the argument was lost and it's no wonder, with septic spouting on, that he was left as a sad & lonely voice.
