I should also point out, I say what I say as a former Lefty myself.
The worst kind of right wing loon.

It was a leftwinging unthinking automaton mod who banned me for 4 months for calling this site North Snowflake Chat. Probably the same mod who just banned me from the "Twenty Members of a Grooming Gang Convicted " thread on my return. If anyone else found my return post offensive I am all ears.

Just been back and checked, can see no reason why either of us were removed.
When I was banned 4 months ago the reason for my ban wasn't even documented on the Moderating Decisions thread, bloody cheek of it The mod was probably too embarrassed by the reason I was banned and just snowflaked off.
I'll find links for your quotes later and find out if this is name calling or was an opionion accompanied by evidence. Then we can see if we can find similar from the right wing mainstream (still undefined) only then can we make a comparison."The Conservative Party is a blatent racist party" - Owen Jones.
"Yet after 10 years of watching the Tories behave like lying pig-f***ing scumbags who hate the poor there are some of us who are genuinely surprised to find out they are, in fact, lying pig-f***ing scumbags who hate the poor." Susie Boniface writing for the Mirror.
"[the Conservatives] have tried to take away the dreams, the hope and optimism of our people" - John McDonnell.
Dan Hodges is a former Labour Party and GMB trade union official, and he sums things up better than I can, and can't be accused of an anti-left bias.:

This was in 2015, and I would say things have gotten worse since he wrote this.
Oh give over, that's not what I said at all. We obviously move in different circles because I have heard plenty of people express outdated views on these matters and proudly regard these views as part of their right leaning political views. Just because you clearly haven't heard such views doesn't mean they don't exist. I obviously frequent different locales to you.
I visit boarding schools, universities, I went to boarding school, have worked on building sites, drunk in exclusive dining clubs and working men's clubs, drunk in "closed" pubs in Belfast and socialised with the Johnson family in Surrey manor houses. I move from one spectrum to another and these views are openly expressed across a broad spectrum. The common denominator is a right leaning view of politics. Disagree all you like, I know what I've seen and heard and it does not tally with what you believe.
It might also behouth you to look at what politicians actually do as opposed to what they say. Boris Johnson's disastrous policies on rough sleeping and the Tory's cutting of women's services in the capital, for example.
I’ve not posted on this thread until now.
I like alot of your posts and points. Your travels around the country give you a wide view.
But have you not also come across racism, anti immigrant, homophobic stuff from Labour voting types? I have, of very widely varying generations. I know many adolescents and people in their 20’s with views of that ilk. At school, sixth form and uni they can’t be bothered in rowing with over-bearing teachers/lecturers who don’t truly listen in alleged ‘debates’.
Then there are mid and older generations of similar views.
Away from the liberal microcosm of Brighton, central London, central Manchester, Leeds etc, are huge swathes of the UK where ordinary folk feel very differently. Your Penzance anecdote was interesting.
What’s interesting is that millions of these people have no truck with the so called right wing, or toffs and do not mix with the wealthy. They do not vote Tory.
We follow the mood music in the media of Momentum and dominant media/entertaining figures based in London and Manchester who are clearly similar minded. But their numbers are meaningless when compared to great numbers in the country who vote for all sorts of mainstream parties (or don’t vote at all) whilst holding views that wouldn’t go down too well on NSC for example.
My point is that those core non-PC/illiberal views are pretty widespread, way beyond the lazy slur of it’s Tories.
A quick look in google shows many right wing journalists (I presume this is what you call mainstream) using many daft names for Jeremy Corbyn in a very similar way to those you have posted. We have terrorist sympathiser, both IRA and Islamic State, we have anti semite (pretty similar to racist), lots of stuff about his apperance and plenty of other stuff too.I'll find links for your quotes later and find out if this is name calling or was an opionion accompanied by evidence. Starting shit like this thread?Funny how its usually those on the left that start shit but ones on the right getting banned, a bait and ban policy?
Or how DR became Pretty Pink Fairy while Voshilov keeps his name, a General during the great Terror when Stalin had 1.1 million people killed in 2 years.

We obviously see things differently and I don't think that is going to change. Probably best to leave it at that. Enjoy your day.I'm not talking about an individual being attacked for a particular thing they said or did (rightly or wrongly), at least that kind of thing is precise and can be thrashed out (like calling Nigel Farage a racist for his immigration poster).
I don't agree with JC's politics, but I wouldn't defend those things thrown at him, and I do not believe at all that JC is an anti-semite, but it is still not exactly a fair comparison, since the accusations of racism and everything else are levelled at those on the right, apparently for just being on the right. I don't see anything like equal kinds of unjustified accusations levelled at the left, for just being on the left.
If you do find something like that I'd be ready to accept that it can work both ways, but I genuinely have asked myself the question, and I can't think of anything which is the same, I don't think this kind of thing does work both ways in todays political debate.
But if you can convince me it's equal and works both ways I'll be more than ready to comdemn this kind of thing when it's done to the left by the right, I just don't think I've ever seen it, and if I had I would have noticed it, because I don't like that kind of thing at all, it really bothers me.
Even though I am on the right, I'm not someone who won't criticize the right, nor am I someone who will criticize the left no matter what.
- In fact, saying that, that is kind of how I see the difference between right and left working today. The right know where to draw a line and where to tell people on their own side to do one when they go too far, and are prepared to give credit where it is due on the left. The left don't seem to know where to draw the line, they don't tend to tell people on their own side to do one when they go to far, and they aren't prepared to give credit to anyone on the right under any circumstances (less they be ostracized for siding with the enemy). You will frequently hear people on the left being damned by Labour politicians for "siding with the tories" (the substance or arguments being irrelevant), you won't hear people on the right being damned for "siding with Labour" in the same way from a Conservative politician.
As a leftie myself I think there is a genuine point to this, the far left is eating itself! Getting offended by mansize tissues and the homophobia in Friends is pathetic, it causes genuine concerns to do with equality to lose their credence because people are too busy laughing at snowflake reactions to things.

That assumes you can be educated.
Because holding an opinion is starting shit.

I have been “removed from discussion” on the Brexit and Trump threads for over a year, no one ever told me either.
I’m not sore about it as this site is not a genuinely public concern, if the mods or anyone else want to restrict my access to threads to maintain an underlying policy I am cool with that, I don’t have to post here.
The essential debate between liberty and free speech vs authoritarianism and censorship will continue elsewhere.
