The only positive I can take from that horror show was Alireza had a great 20 minute cameo. He was my mom just for that as he was the only fella who tried to make anything happen ( which he did ) or looked as if he gave a toss. The whole team looked from the start as if they could not give a rats ars and had been in the casino until 5 am this morning. What worries me the most about Potter is he seems happy with any dross we serve and thinks it is acceptable. We have won 2 in the last 16 games and 1 in 12. Where is the progress ? The football for the first 10 games was great but by and large been horsesh.t for about 4 months now

I know I'm stating the obvious but realisticaly we probably need 4 wins from our remaining 12 games, and we've won 1 of the last 11.

Are we really going to get 4 wins in these last dozen games. Tonight I can't see where the next win is coming from (unless we draw all 12 games)?

Agree, I can’t see how anyone thinks we are capable of winning 4 in the next 12. Nothing in the last few games has made this look remotely feesable!

Supporters are happy with small mercies just now, 20 and 30 minute team cameos lauded.

We need 90 minute performances now, clean sheets would help too.

The last 4 MASSIVE winnable games where most nsc member wanted 8 points to be comfortable has seen a 3 point return and now we have a horrific run in the next 9 games bar Norwich away who if they turn up could beat us. How many points are we going to get in the next 9 games, I predict 4

Like many here I’ve got insurance bets at 10/1 or more.

4/1 is still great value it appears to me, with our fixture list and new CM that offers no defensive protection, it feels like evens. Tempted.

I think the oddsmakers are asleep. I would have us 6 to 4 to go down

Agree. It’s not like we’re on a deliberate downer. I look for the empirical evidence, and it says we’re certainly going down. You could get hopeful if we had a long casualty list of returning players that might change things but we don’t. Just a South American youngster flown in from Buenos Aires that will need to play like Maradona or Messi every week to give us half a chance.

It saddens me but I just think with the games coming up and the fact we won 2 in 16 and seeing the next 9 games Bill Hill giving 4 to 1 is too good to resist. The way I see it if we stay up great, if we don't I pay for next season. You have to bet with your head not heart

If it's any consolation, I watched about an hour of Everton v palace and that was worse.

Sure there was RichArseLison but by Christ you had to wade through a tonne of shite to get to the £85m worth of talent.

And here is the problem. Prices for genuine high talent are astronomically absurd, prices for moderately high talent are extremely absurd, and when you get to our price bracket in the ridiculously absurd 20m area it's pot luck if you will get someone who can cut it at the bottom of the PL let alone help you rise up the table.

The previous match-ups highlights before the game, had me pinning for Big Jurg.

T'is a funny old world.

It’s very windy outside so I’m awake....

Am I getting paranoid but it Potter stirring it up with the fans?
“The crowd got a little nervous and the atmosphere is difficult. I'm proud of the players because we took responsibility of the game. The character they showed, they accepted the challenge because you could go under at that point - it's not easy to be the one that has to find the answers.”
He has to support the team for sure, but don’t make it them and us.
Hope not, and it’s just me at 5am

He's not wrong, but you are.

WE ARE MAKING IT THEM AND US, not GPott

TBH if I were him I'd be full on Delia after 'we' booed them off at halftime.
Grabbing the mic from RR and calling us exactly what we are, a bunch of over entitled, ingratiated, *****plats who don't deserve to call ourselves fans or supporters.

If you behave like that then you are a customer.

So either accept being a customer with all that entails.
Or be a supporter.

Just don't be both - when it suits your needs.

Now you've made me get shouted at by Guinness Boy because I'm not allowed to say our support id fudging shite, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

I’ve never booed the Albion in my life. But fans do as they please, it’s a spectrum. Potter needs to rise above it, to LEAD. He’s not a kid in a playground, and neither are you btw

I don't see why he should rise above it.

If the fans need to be loved then show some love.

We do love a self fulfilling prophecy.

'gonna call X shite - then complain when X is shite'.
