mushroom farm , came 4th with 75lb, 213lb won itHow did you get on and where did you fish,I do a bit
myself, normally eastbourne area, but haven't done much this year so far
I went down the marina this afternoon & took awalk along both arms, TBH I was shocked with the amount of people who had feathers going, out of the 60 or so people fishing, Id say only 7 or 8 had bait going! I was lucky enough to see a couple of fish get reeled in but nothing special & it seemed to be like that all day from the people I asked.
Living down here, I fish the Marina more or less every week. In the last 30-plus visits, I've only blanked twice. It's not just mackerel, either: fifteen species so far. What everyone else's opinion on the marina?
I've caught f*** all ... but then I don't know what I'm doing
i had a 4lb bass of the marina the other monday... the guy next to me had a 7lb... 5lb and a 3lb bass!... always seem to catch on the marina!! all you need is half a fillet of mackerel on a size 4/0 hook with about 4 foot hook length.. use a 4-5oz led (just to hold in the tide) and cast it about 15-20 foot from the wall!!!
