Yes,I don't like to see any hostility towards police at these sort of things.
Most police officers are there just to make sure everyone is safe and gets home in one piece.
It looks like the police did a good job here.

No, I have never said my posts are a wind up. You’re quoting someone else who misinterpreted, or wasn’t able to fully comprehend/understand for whatever reason, an explanation I gave to him in person and then again in a post on here.

You must be on a wind up. A few weeks ago you had me bang to rights for a minor motoring infringement involving the last 5 metres of a bus lane. Here you are defending thousands of lawbreakers illegally parking in their hundreds, ruining farmland and livelihoods, scaring animals and letting them wander, and looking at the 50 or so arrests, indirectly condoning the drunk and drug driving that inevitably follows.

Not on a wind up my arse. Either that or your opinion blows around with the wind.

It’s encouraging that the police have not gone in heavy handed but have seen their role, quite correctly, as one of making sure the area is taken care of and the people are safe. Not bad at all!

Only one with a broken arm and one assaulted…….50+ arrests…….quiet night :)

The problem with troll accounts is unless you find them amusing, as I do, most people put you on ignore. It must be disheartening knowing that everything you post is only read by those who enjoy reading troll accounts.

HT is not a troll.

Anyone our age (I'm 47, guessing you must be similar) had the best of times early to mid 90s with clubs and drugs :)

Did the two events you've mentioned above (at the Event!) religiously for about a year, that progressed to The Zap for banging Friday nights until (stupid o'clock some nights) late.

Best of times, it really was..............if you were into the music and drugs that is :rave:[emoji2]:rave:[emoji2]:rave:

Yes I remember it well. I didnt ever make it to the Zap. My last ever Rave was in 1994 @ Hastings Pier, after that my body and head said no more.

I don't know how I used to get to work on a Monday morning [emoji38]
The Zap and The Honey Club 98/99 was banging. Best years of my life, what I would do to go back for one night.

Both great clubs at that time.
When did Audio start up? That was a good night. Used to go there in the early to mid 00’s. Think it’s called Patterns now.

Stern's during the interdance was the best.
Great club and because of the location and the way the place was run it seemed to have the feel of a free outdoor rave on the downs.
Incredibly friendly place.
Went off to a few raves and decent after parties afterwards too.
Zap was the best club in Brighton though, had some fantastic nights in there over the 90s.

Same! I was working a shift pattern that worked amazingly well for enjoying myself. Absolutely loved The Honey Club at that time, and often a sunrise swim in the sea on the way home. Feel lucky to have experienced it. Don't know what the modern equivalent would be?

Used to go there when it was The Escape. Thank Funk it's Friday was good fun. Think it became Audio around 2008, but that was long after I felt too old to go!

Brighton had so many good nights in small clubs - Jazz Rooms used to be fun as well, a lot of international students and great music, and in the early 90s Sister Ray's at the Underground was a fantastic indie night. Happy days!
