Funny how people are forgetting we could have lost by 2 or 3 if it wasn't for his saves today which sounded top class

But isn't that what he should be doing - ie making top class saves? He's cost us too many points during his time here.

Very much this.

The trouble with the guy between the sticks is that when a howler is made it's focused upon, where as any one else on the park it's only talked about in general.

Yes, youre right, if there was nobody in goal we would have lost by loads.

But what if Kuszczak was in goal?

This 'all keepers make mistakes' is bollocks. Ankers makes howlers more often than not. TK has made 1 error all season, in how many games? Ankers has been at fault for at least the last 3 or 4 goals he has let in.

Thought he might have got something on the first goal if he'd have stood up, the second was an absolute shocker.

Yes, he made a few decent saves during the game, but ultimately it's cost the Albion 2 valuable points.

Let's hope it doesn't make the difference between making and missing the playoffs at the end of the season, otherwise people will tend to remember this as the defining moment rather than the season as a whole.

he looked dodgy all game. As soon as i saw the team sheet i feared the worst! made a couple of routine saves apart from that useless and nervous all game. massive 2 points dropped!

BOLLOCKS. Keepers at this level are paid to make regulation saves and NOT MAKE MISTAKES.

CA is NOT good enough for us and needs to go. His ratio of mistakes per game is completely unacceptable.

Perspective. Well said.

These things happen, good result and a tough away game out of the way. Casper has gained us more points than he has cost us.

But they shouldn't happen - ever.
Schoolboy error.

Shit schoolboy at that.

No confidence in our back up keepers.

he needs to go, and take Brez with him.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Up in the play-offs now, so i won't endlessly bemoan a player who was having a good game mostly. He had a lot to do and he charged out of goal effectively a good few times. I think we all feel bludgeoned by that momentary lapse, and i bet the poor Ankers does more than any of us. The off-with-his-head brigade of over-reactors will rejoice that they have something to grumble about, whilst i, once the minute bruise on my heart speedily clears, will look at the table and enjoy our position there and think back to Ulloa and his sweet magic. Tuesday here we come!

Don't get me wrong, I feel for the bloke.
He's a nice guy.
But, we are aiming for the top flight, with no proper back up keepers.

Agreed. Nice bloke but he's out of his depth. Let him go and get in someone who can handle top 6 Championship.
