A lot of nonsense about Ankergren here, solid number 2 at this level and easily good enough to step in when required. I have no concerns about his appearance today.

Bigger day for Crofts than for Ankergren.

... and rightly so. We didn't do badly with him in goal last season. We all know Kuszczak is the best, but that doesn't mean Ankergren and Brez are Google, they are both solid and reasonable Championship keepers.

Besides, the quality of the players in front is a bit important too!

Given the level of confidence you had in him before the game, and in a few posts before this, you said you expected him to concede 3 goals.
