I’m only responding like that to people who are abusive buddy, give it back to them in kind. Don’t worry, I’ll have a philosophical beer with most of you anytime.
How about a curry night, hun ?

Sanchez has been a good and brave call, much as I love Maty to bits. It builds for the future bigtime. Tho IMHO it's got as much to do with abandoning the basics of 'Potterball', whatever that thing may or may not be. But certainly calling a halt on endless tinkering with the side and needless dicking around at the back seems to have had a beneficial effect. Was there maybe a clear-the-air session? Or did maybe somebody have a word? And, who knows, maybe ditching that voluntarily-reducing-the-team-to-ten-men-at-corners thing might produce a similar boost?
Very good post.
As a perceived outer to a degree I must put my hands up and say I got it wrong, but at the time it was what I believed and I would go as far as to say, at one point with the level of performances and results and arguably with the best squad the club had ever assembled the question could have been asked is GP one of the worst managers we've ever had?
Clearly that's not the case, but emotions were running high, and we all love the club and following the Albion is at times extremely passionate.

We appear to have turned the corner, partly due to I think a more settled starting line up, so GP has changed his way of thinking, and at times the rub of the green.
What I do object to is the vitriol and venom expressed by some on the 'in' faction on social media in the last 12 hours, at the moment I seem to be constantly trolled by an individual on FB who claims his name is Kee Wah Cheunggipswicz,(quite a common Sussex name) at the lowest point I questioned on here where some fans deluded, but never mentioned bedwetting or any other form of abuse, we all support the Albion we all want what's best for the club, hence why the timing of your post was extremely apt.

Pompous crowing disguised as an olive branch to massage your ego. You have an annoying and needy desire to dominate the conversation and it shows in every post you make.
We all support the same team. That team, up until Sunday, were the only team in the country not to have won a home game this season and, up to four league matches ago were in dire relegation trouble. It really is little wonder people were questioning him. Yes, we beat Liverpool away. We also failed to beat 10 man Sheffield United at home.
Nevertheless, it's been a great turnaround and I'm absolutely happy to admit I am back in the "in" camp (and was after Spurs, check the poll) because all I've ever asked is that the "all passing, no scoring performance art project" as The Guardian called it, started to produce some actual results. And we have.
That, however, is based on defensive solidness and not the Brazil 1970 performances. In beating Leeds, Liverpool and Spurs and drawing with Fulham we have scored three goals. We just haven't conceded any. Funnily enough Chris Hughton was always about the clean sheet first.
Credit to Potter, as I said on the match thread last night we park the bus very stylishly and we now have the pace on the break that CH was never given (or never wanted). The defence have been magnificent (big tick for Potter), Sanchez coming in has really helped (another credit) and we've had a lot more luck. In short, he's done what many of us were pleading for during the first half of the season.
Legit question . . . since when has an annual performance had any relevance to anything? everything is marked by seasons . . . players, squads, managers, performances, competitions . . . . we've always wanted at least ten per season, and thus far have only managed 9 tops. . . . time will tell this season we're just over half way through it and not quite on target yet.
Another 2 wins and we have matched 2020 win tally. If that isn't turning things around I don't know what is.
mate , we all want the same thing and we are all Albion through and through.
No need be petty
Its a way to see how things are going. If that had been a season we would most likely be relegated, if we were lucky stay up by the skin of our teeth. I am a firm believer that we should always aim for 1 point a game and 2020 was not 1 point a game. I know we haven't managed 10 wins in a season but we have never been as low as 6 which is what it would have been.
This should have been a thread where we should have agreed to let bygones by bygones
But look at the language. "Bedwetter" "ego", "insecurity"
It just forces people to entrenched positions. We see this language and approach to debate with other aspects of life
Both sides are doing this.
Beating Liverpool away is a great chance to unite a schism which has formed in our fanbase.
But all i'm reading is "look at me, I'm the one who was right all along and this is why"
Lets reset.
Nobody has to apologise for any view held one way or the other.
Nobody has to explain or justify anything they've previously said.
Nobody should be taking this as a chance to gloat to other Albion fans that they called it early.
Nobody should be raising the stakes with baby pictures or personal attacks.
This is a happy day. But more than that, the issue of managerial tenure has been settled. We're not going down and we're not sacking Potter. This means we have the chance to leave factions aside.
The conversation should be about our bright future. The past is dead.
Are you really this dense or are you just pretending. Its hardly turning things around when you maintain the same strategy. You are now praising the same approach from the same manager that you were pissing on only a few games ago. The only thing that has changed are the points tally. Maybe you should start watching basketball, far more goals and points, might better suit your level of attention span,
Well no matter what name calling you may throw my way you’re the one making personal attacks not me. Doesn’t seem like good behaviour befitting of a moderator to be quite honest.
Mind you, you were the one who approved the “Hopefully the end of Connolly” thread. And when a few of us pointed out the hateful nature of that title you shouted us down as it being free speech.
Clearly your ego is bruised as you’ve been proven wrong so attacking me. Shame on you when this is a good natured thread which others (edit: including more then a few who disagreed with me in the past) have taken it in good spirit.
Fairysnuff. despite the wonder of beating spuds and Liverpool we're still on target for just under 9 . . . .so dstill work to do, not easing off the throttle the next few games against similar teams is the next challenge. nothing glam about Saturdays fixture.

All is good now.
Time to draw a line under the In/Out/Shake it all about debate.
Onwards and upwards to Burnley and the return of the Mac
I agree but all the time we are 1 point a game or more then I am happy. We cant do that unless we win our fair share as we are going to loose our fair share.
