Oh yeah, sorry - thats the name. Fixing it.

He had a rough start with the results (because their squad is a really poor one) but the football instantly improved and by the end of the season they looked strong, dominating games and creating lots of chances.

I don't think those numbers mean anything on their own.

Van Bronkhorst getting 62% at Ranger strikes me as somebody achieving the minimum that would be expected of them. Similarly Solskjaer's 54% at Man U.

Indeed. Tbh expectation in the SPL should be winning every game apart from Celtic, where a win is not guaranteed.

So ~60% is low. I suppose if this takes European games in to consideration too, that would bring the average down.

They play direct football against better teams and dominant football against worse teams. They are top 5 in Ligue 1 both in terms of avg possession and long balls.

Yup. They also lost a number of zero importance games in the league when the title chance was gone while they at the same time made it to the Europa League final.
