Absolutely in love with this. Probably won't be to the taste of many. Metal made with guitar, synths, drum machines and floppy disks. I'm not kidding. All the work of one guy too. It's bonkers and it's utterly brilliant.

Current Resident album of the week is worth a poke

New Hot Chip out today. It’s a bit in and out through the middle but it starts and ends well. Production is up there, but its co produced by Soulwax so that’s no surprise. At its best in the super 80s first three or four tunes.

Managed to bag a 4 vinyl edition of this tonight.

I listened whilst doing some work this afternoon but at 3 hours plus it will need some dedication to keep fully focused. It’s very enjoyable and it’s nice to have some new music from him.


Bad luck for my friend as she has Covid but good luck me for me as I now have one of her tickets.

His Lordship has announced a follow up to his 2003 Fly On The Wall rarities collection with Will of the People, a similar mix of non-album rarities which takes in an array of B-sides, tracks from singles, remixes and live recordings.



Here's a demo of a track Sir Paul wrote with Noel Gallagher for The Monkees last album.



Out 28th October.
