So now your picking on me and my laugh!!!:eek:

I have to say that around us in D block we do try and sing but its getting more and more difficult and we end up sitting in silence for long periods of the game. People are getting so wound up and end up shouting more abuse than getting behind the team

Its weird 1,111 at Millwall sing for 90 minutes and really get behind the team (not playing that much better than the Northampton game), 5,000 at Withdean and no significant vocal support, but lots of aimed abuse at White and players. Withdean is not a fun experiance, I hate it, but wont let the moaners win and will keep going and keep trying to get people to get behind the team.

Falmer is now becoming a reality, we should be a club going forward!

Good shout there Mr B, but do cut those crap 'jokes' out will you - or at least analyse your gag methodology before the match ffs. You have been warned!

Agree there 100%. It is the moaners and the booers who are jeopardising this club's future.

.

Or shown in numbers:

Code:
-- Pld W D L F A GD Pts Rank
Home Record 16 3 5 8 20 29 -9 14 23
Away Record 15 4 6 5 15 17 -2 18 14

Same team, same manager (except latest 1 away/1 home).

Visitors have gone away from Withdean with 29 pts in the kitty, and 50% more goals than we have scored, despite their very few fans having to put up with the same or worse facilities than the home fans.

Ok fair enough Ninja, I think we have slightly different views on moaning, I think it is acceptable in small does and if it is not personal either, I also think that booing is ok after a really bad performance.
Haven't been to the Brewery Tap for a while, may do that for the next home game against Southend, I will PM you if I am definitely going.
Enjoy the game on Saturday and let's hope we get three points!

I think we do, but there's no problem in that. I think the occaisonal moan is perfectly normal, I moaned a fair amount about Doug Loft not getting a game for example, I fully agree that if anything shouted isn't aimed at people personally, that's fine. Things like, "You're a f***ing wanker Virgo" aren't neccessary, and that's what I take offence to, not, "Get the f***ing thing on the ground".

If you decide to go to the Brewery Tap, please do PM me, I will happily meet you in there for a pint, or so.

Yes mate that was me, my father and my mate Danny. We waited in that pub for about an hour and then got the delayed train. I remember it was very nice of the train guards to come in and tell us to drink up because our train was approaching.
The pound a drink bar was also another thing I remember from the day!
Obviously we met you that day, who were you? Sorry my memory has gone as get nearer my forties!
Me and my son , Russ (R M Taylor on here) were waiting for the train at Hartlepool which was supposed to leave at 18.15 but didn't turn up until 18.35. Andy Naylor was also waiting to catch this one. Didn't have long to wait at Thornaby where the majority of Brighton fans were who had caught the earlier service (ha ha). When the train got to Darlo , the screen said the train bound for Kings X was delayed for 70 minutes. You all decided to go to the pub and invited us along but I dont drink and Russ is a diabetic , I remember the guard telling you to get back to the station in 60 minutes. The train managed to make up lost time and I mentioned to the guards you would miss the connection as you were unaware the train would pull in earlier than expected. One of them went to tell you and you got back in time.

Thanks very much for that mate, I never knew you told them to tell us. Hopefully we will be going to MK Dons, Colchester and Huddersfield this season, so if you going to any of those away games, let us know. We can meet up and I'll I will buy you soft drink!
