The top pic is better as you can just see the first and second floor slabs well on their way From the limited plans on the uni website i believe it's only 4 floors including ground floor

It was deferred for a site visit. Decision to be made next time, 20th August.

How ridiculous that the system doesn't allow for site visits to be made prior to the meeting scheduled to decide the planning application. It is a waste of time and resources.

Who were those against the application or did they not specify?

Considering this application was paramount to the development, I am a little peeved that it was closer than last time.

Can't remember names sorry

The main reason they were against it was very trivial imo!! The cycle/footpath that will cross the road into the Uni/Stanmer park will possibly be a 60 limit as the police think the rural nature of the road means it will be unenforcable!! That and the fact there will be no signal crossing just a drop kerb and tactile paving.

What swung it our way a bit more is a couple of the older council planning members remember the junction with the park entrance the way it used to be which is pretty much what it will be like again when it's finished.
