It's marketed as Gold and Platinum pricing.
I pay £91 per month (Gold) but I sit a couple of seats away from someone who pays around £120ish for Platinum.

This is wants annoying me and not many seem to be picking up on this point , if we were in the prem it's 4 less games so in fact the current price rise would already be greater if we get promoted because of the 4 fewer games

Not read the whole thread, and my maths is none too good, but I thought rises were between 2 & 5% yet the OP gives % rises from 6 to nearly 10%, or am I reading it wrong?

Admittedly, it is a bit Ryan Air. The ticket costs 99p, but if you actually want to get on the plane and fly somewhere it will actually cost you £70.

Thanks. Just listening to Albion Roar and they've also explained it.
Of course, the real issue at the heart of this is footballers and their agents demanding £7'000 / £8'000+ a week to play second tier football, whilst the rest of us - who would be happy to earn in year what they take out the club in a month - are left to argue with each other over whether an extra £50 a year is fair or not.
Of course, this isn't an issue unique to the Albion, but is the reason why I hardly go to football anymore.

Absolutely spot on. Couldn't agree more. We have to stump up an extra amount so the greedy players pick up extra. Modern day football is pathetic. Average players earning more than some of the top chief executives in the country. It's about time us the fans refuse this total piss take
I think that the club need to look at people that cleary don't use the travel ie the buses and trains. Those people are disabled and are already paying £180.00 to park. This isn't a luxury it is a necessity. For example myself and my husband travel to matches with my disabled Mum. From next season we are getting a senior ticket for my Dad so that means there will now be 4 people in the car. Now between the 4 of us we will be paying £45.00 each for the season to use the car park. The club with the increase to the travel has now decided that we will also be paying £100.00 per season for something that we can't and will never be able to use. We don't choose to bring the car it is a must a my Mum wouldn't be able to get to games without us and the car. I just feel that the club are asking us to pay for travel twice which is very unfair. They wouldn't expect someone to pay for 2 pints and and only get 1 so why should we?

God, why do people churn out this crap year after year. Can you just tell me when you last turned down a pay rise for doing the same job? If you don't go to the Albion, what football do you watch.
What about the drivers, walkers, cyclists, short-distance travellers ? Subsidy for them

Again they are hired ( Uni, Bridge car parks)and that is an extra cost that is maybe covered in the cost they pay. Then they have to be manned by stewards and again surrounding roads were improved and pathways from car parks to the ground. Maybe the club could say to the people who park, no you do not have to pay for transport and then put the price of the car parking up by the same price. People have to get past this I am paying for something I do not use. It's all part of the cost of building the stadium, therefore it should be met by all fans attending the stadium

For the car park, it should be free for 4 people + in a car, a fiver for 3, tenner for 2 and £15 if you drive on your tod.
The car parks do not belong to Brighton, well the uni and bridge ones are not. So they have to pay the uni and council to hire them and that cost is passed on to us. The other point is that there is limited parking. If you make it free for cars of 4 people in, then you would have most people wanting to use the car park, why park and ride when you can park for free. The idea behind the pricing is to discourage all but a few to park. Having said that if you have four people in a car, it only works out at 2.50 a game each to park. So those with more in a car are saving money, ( as long as its not your own kids )
