So therefore , we weren't unlucky at all. We had all the possession, did nothing with it, fell apart as soon as their tails upped. No luck involved tonight - just naivety and the usual shyte in the final third from us.

summed up perfectly.

Lost your football mojo? Losing game after game in Premier League? Need to regain your confidence and need a boost? Then BHA are the answer. Just play once with a glass of water, and you will soon feel better. Guaranteed to turn around your season.

Buying the best of the Championship does not constitute a Premier League side.

The only way you can get away with it is by limitation jobs and riding your luck, as we did for 2 seasons.

To play this way required a SIGNIFICANT increase in wages offered to attract the calibre of player necessary to facilitate it.

Another harsh lesson learned.

You have to say we were a tad unlucky. However, for two games on the trot the opposition seemed to want it more than us, dug in and got a result.

Yes, but there is clearly a lot else wrong at the moment.
We just don't seem to have any game management and we are not mean enough when we need to be.
Take Grealish out of the game against Villa, take Zaha out of the game against Palace and that would have been 6 points.
It seems we had no game management at all tonight from being far superior for 30 minutes and all that possession.

I think it is the edge we need.

Look at Southampton, something big changed with them and now they are knocking on Europe's door.

They have some outstanding players, better than ours, who got their confidence back. Redmond, Ings, Bertrand, Romeu, Armstrong and Ward-Prowse would improve us no end.

When they closed us down we carried on playing about at the back - there must be a plan B

He didn't. I wouldn't say any of those saves was particularly difficult.

They were all Hollywood saves. Maupay's was hit a comfortable height for him, and not far off the middle of the goal, Mooy's was decent, but it was from distance so he had plenty of time to set himself.

Terrable defending Webster was at fault for two of the goals he is currently a liability we need Duffy Dunk, Trossard skill full undoubtably but a luxury player cannot tackle cannot head the ball, Maupay was really unlucky on another day could have had a hattrick, Mooy could have had two goals, the Bournemouth Keeper was outstanding, not sure Connely touched the ball in the half hour he was on the pitch while March looked a better option, we are now officially in trouble big time so lets officially announce

We are too predictable

We are too slow with the distribution

We don’t have anyone dropping off for the ball

We don’t have the movement

Duffy and Dunk needs to be reinstated

Playing Stephens as right wing back after subs doesn’t work either

Staring to think we go back to 442 and start with Murray and Maupay up top together, the fact is we need to shake this up as what we are doing simply isn’t working

Southampton have gone 9th! FFS

The only positive was March looked ok when he came on
