You have to say we were a tad unlucky. However, for two games on the trot the opposition seemed to want it more than us, dug in and got a result.

So therefore , we weren't unlucky at all. We had all the possession, did nothing with it, fell apart as soon as their tails upped. No luck involved tonight - just naivety and the usual shyte in the final third from us.

Whilst the Wilson’s, Fraser and even donkey Solanke ripped us to shreds at the other end.

No way is this a robbed Albion, hard luck story.

We can’t defend and we have a sterile attack.

Memo - Our midfield is fecking awful too.

He can only do so much.

I think GP has been dealt a harsh hand. This squad is still largely he same as the one that stunk out the PL last year.

Recruitment team has let the club down by leaving us some woefully short up front.

Agreed. Clearly Potter has made some bad decisions at times as every young manager will, but squad is so weak. I think he’s actually done quite well so far with what he has available to him.

Just to make things worse, I could've cashed out 250 quid on a 350 bet a minute before Newcastle scored [emoji849]

Toon got 4 points from last two games when they've deserved absolutely nothing. Annoying.

Yeh, we've not had anyone since Izquierdo got that injury in the World Cup.

Gross = carthorse, Murrey = shot to bits because hes too old, Stevens = out of his depth, Trossard = slow but skillful, Webster = ermmmm??? Jahanbakhsh = slow and predictable. We have no pace especially from midfield and I'm now wobbling regarding staying up.

I think it is the edge we need.

Look at Southampton, something big changed with them and now they are knocking on Europe's door.

Hilarious how lickers come up with the unlucky fiction every time.

Simple fact is we could have had 4 tonight, but we didn’t! They could have had 4 and got 3.

Brighton factually.....
No, but the manager has to show tactical nouse and getting the best out of what he has. We stayed up twice in the row with a weaker team. This is down to team selection and tactics.

We barely stayed up, and only because teams were inferior than this season, this team is weaker than last year Murray is not the same player and can’t be expected to save us this season, Stephens should have been upgraded. Tactics are only part of the problem, you need the players to be a: intelligent enough to carry out orders & b: good enough — sadly we have neither

Anyway I’m not actually bothered if we go down, I will still be supporting Thee Albion, and frankly I’m not a fan of the premier league, plastic fans, VAR, shitty kick off times, and over coverage love in by all the media of the “big six” it’s pony......

Who wants to finish 10th or 13th every boring season....

We’re thee Albion.... it should be promotion, followed by relegation, relegation, season of calm, promotion, repeat repeat, steady boring eddy is not what we do or want is it....

He keeps ****ing changing the team, the tactics, throws subs on three at a time. The players haven’t time to adjust. It’s a mad mans scramble every game and during it.

We have a keeper who lacks any dominance in his area, a defender who can’t read the game or header the ball, a midfield player at right back, a premiership forward who never gets a game, a slow ponderous midfield, no width going forwards, I can only see one person to blame. Potter get a grip

yet we play him in place of the proven Duffy, that, is down to GP and no one else

Potter got this one completely wrong didn't he? The defence didn't cope with being pressed at all, which was half our downfall. I'd have felt more confident with Duffy at the back defending corners though. The midfield looked ponderous until the substitutions. That was odd - they all seemed to do their jobs except Stephens (who went missing for me), and NONE of them wanted to push on forward.

I still think Trossard is the key to creating chances. I have no idea why he doesn't start,
