That extra 0.23 points a game is worth another 10 points a season. And MM inherited a team that had last a few in a row didn't he?

He just isn't getting it is he :lolol: the difference between 1.56 and 1.33 is a 17% better record which as you say equates to 10 points a season at least

its opened a lively debate, I am Albion through and through, have been for 35 years, managers come and go , I will be Albion until I draw my final breath, just wish sometimes we were a proper club like the other 91.

Yeah but Wilkins didn't take over a top 6 team did he? He's had to completely rebuild the team, and yet still not far off what Mcgoo achieved with a winning and more experienced team.

Not far off? Its miles away to be honest. Did MM take us over when we were top 6? I cant check as seagulls site seems to be up the creek.

You do, of course, have the choice NOT to renew but I suspect most STHs will be too loyal for their own good. Which in some ways is a shame really because recent events have certainly proved that these people are being taken for granted by those in charge at the club.

I guess it depends who you want to put first, yourself or the club you support. If you care more about getting priority for tickets than you do about the future of the club, then you really need to take a serious look at yourself.

we were in the top3 i think when coppell left, however we then lost a few games on the trot, i'd imagine we were atleast top 6 though

Was fairly early season though wasn't it? October time so I thougt the run of defeats put us just outside the play-offs? Cant remember though!

I think that season it was

Coppell Played 11 Won 7 Drawn 2 Lost 2
Booker Played 4 Won 1 Drawn 0 Lost 3
Total Played 15 Won 8 Drawn 2 Lost 5

We were around 6th to be fair when MM took over but had 3 defeats on the bounce.

No you're just deliberately refusing to look at the fact Mcgoo had a winning team, thus winning more matches. Wilkins rebuilt his team thus he's gonna lose more.

Take all that into consideration and Wilkins is far superior.

I have been a sth for the 8 seasons at the Shitedean and decided to renew last April but it was touch and go, I can honestly say I have enjoyed 1 game at home maybe 2 all season, the football has been woeful, I doubt very much I will renew come April as I just hate, hate, hate the Shitedean and poor div 3 football in an excuse for a ground with no cover, crap burgers and 10 minute queues for a piss has lost its appeal now.
