Yes it does.
no it doesnt, its clearly after contact, look at the direction of the ball
Yes it does.
Me too.Right yep - got it now.....
From the youtube clip
if you pause at 3 seconds you can clearly see both players going for the loose ball, shawcross possibly is a bit nearer, both clearly commited to winning it and the injury could have gone either way.
no foul,no red card.
ref got it wrong.
It's after contact. Here it is, but larger - http://i48.tinypic.com/2rz7uid.jpg - you can see Shawcross's leg has gone right where Ramsey's white tape is, basically kicked that part of Ramsey's leg back on itself, and therefore looking like it hasn't yet made contact with Shawcross.

Sickening.
Don't understand, sorry. Looks, from that, like his leg's just caved in on itself... Physics never was my strong point.
That's what I thought from the picture, you need to watch the video.
If you imagine that ramsey has already kicked the ball away and their shins have collided sending shawcross spinning in the other direction, hence the gap between then in that picture. It's very misleading.
I get you. Will have to see if the video ever gets aired again...
