At least he's now a certified ****. We have a another potential candidate 'sockboy' in the U18s who I feel might fall into the same trap. Greg Luer and Dean Cox are locals who thought they were so important that they needed to 'verify' their Twitter accounts.

It's like a disease, signing a pro football contract in your 20s means you've completed life.

Not sure why people are so bothered. Brighton player gets a tattoo or himself playing for Brighton. If he was banging them in we would be calling him a ****ing legend. Going on about how much he loves the club etc etc.

Some people just want to find something to moan about next.

Lewis Dunk used to drive round a Range Rover with #5 in the head rests (or was it LD?) didn't he?

getting a tattoo of yourself is pretty odd to be fair.

It’s not uncommon for footballers to have little things in their private lives that offer a knowing nod to their professional lives. Dunk has customised car seat headrests, Connolly has his tattoo and Jugen Locadia has got a bench in his garden.

And, sadly, he's not allowed to sit, often, even on that.

Waiting for the obligatory “who among us can honestly say they didn’t get a tattoo of themselves when they were young?”
