I'm assuming this Baleba / Man City interest going around is a lot of agent noise ?
There could be something in it. They need a defensive midfielder or two and Baleba should be interesting.

Peps an admirer (So they say).
Big fee for a 2028 contract, just to cover Rodri ?
Yeah they don't really have another DMC in the squad so gonna need him (or someone) when Rodri is back as well.

He doesn’t look quick enough to be a Premier League striker.
We have bags of pace in our front line. I’m not sure that is our priority at the moment, we just need someone to stick the ball in the net ugly style (we can’t always construct the technically brilliant goals we saw equalise at Villa or win at Bournemouth).

This guy looks like a sniffer/right place-right time type to me. Very similar to Undav from the brief highlights I’ve seen and FH was desperate to keep the German.

Evan Ferguson is more like Chris Wood that he is any of our strikers. I’ve a feeling that he might be a square peg in a round hole in FH’s current plans. If Chris Wood get‘s injured, is not needed in the cup and/or Forest want to preserve the old man’s minutes, Evan is ideal.

I think this theory has legs.

Lots of em!

Another rumour? ☹️

It's certainly a rumour. But not a very credible one

It wouldn’t surprise me if there will be clubs having a go - he’s having quite a breakout season. Not that we would be interested in selling him half way through a very good loan season.

Ferguson could still be a target for a West Ham loan deal which I suggested when Antonio had the car crash. Might be best option for him.

Jarrod Bowen is also out for two months. He was their top scorer last season and is currently their top scorer this season.

Ferguson's injury will be stopping anything happening in the immediate term.

If he is actually injured. A lot of players get 'injured' and can't make squads before being transferred, passing a medical and playing immediately for their new side.

I think he could be out for a while but that doesn’t stop offers being made (or rumours of them at least!)

Getting Ivanovic over from USG could be very helpful given Welbeck and Ferguson both out.

Barco update - Back in training with Sevilla today

Brighton and Porto stalling over what seems to be an 18 month loan proposal now (with option to buy for €8-10m)

Unlikely... but in the case its true, I would guess we might not turn down £37m for him.

Think unfortunately he is injured or we (with Welbeck injured) would have had a natural CF on the bench against Villa and Brentford . Your theory would be preferable though!

Too low.

The alternative to him being injured is he is transferring out - not sure that is preferable for the Club (even though he’s off form) unless we get another CF in this January.

With Ferguson’s form as it is, I would say that’s a priority anyway.

Our lack of finishing this season has meant too many games where we’ve been at the losing end of the fine margins between dropping points and winning.

Super Glenn Murray was very much always in the right place. Loads of tap ins and very effective at that

Disagree strongly that any struggles we've had this season is connected to our finishing.

Normally we're very bad in that area - even in the season we finished 6th we should according to xG have scored another dozen goals. Thats the standard for us: 10-12 goals below xG. This season that number so far is 2 rather than 12.
