Not sure what was happening at the end of the interview. Cav's expression changed and he said, "Matt it was me, I was talking more he wasn't asking". And then voices at the back saying something about touching and then Cav saying, "guys guys guys"

Im with you on that. A bit too brash and arrogant in his early days. I suppose thats what makes you a winner though.

Apparently, Cav has an encyclopedic memory of all his winning sprints throughout his career. I think he is one of those very rare, genius sportsmen who is able to remain calm and sees everything in slow-motion. The way he can jump from one wheel to the next to the next until he hits the front is just insane and, as we saw yesterday, if he picks a wheel to follow at the same time as another rider there is only going to be one winner in that fight.
Thanks for this. Really informative. Shows the sheer dedication of these elite sportspeople, and Cav is right up there amongst them.

I’ve just tuned in. What problems have there been?
The main problem has been narrow roads and slowing peloton on gravel climbs, resulting in some riders having to run. No different to the Flandrien one day classics or stages in GTs going back decades.
Dust bowls, no traction, riders walking their bikes etc.
I watched up until the F1 so from about 180km to go to 80km - incredible drama on some of the gravel sections, definite one for the extended highlights!
