If you changed the word from 'toy' to replica in your post, your son's actions look far more sinister and you wonder why you would allow him to even contemplate carrying it around with him, after all he wasaware 13 years old not 6 ... just saying like BG

It was a fade his fellow classmates went through, that I was unaware of. When I found out I got the copper to have a word with him thinking he would listen to him more than me, which fortunately he did and they all stopped the practice.

USA constitution states that all Americans should be able to carry fire arms after the successful revolution against the British. At the time there was a fear that the British may return to reclaim the 13 colonies. In this day and age this idea is rediculous and USA should be more like Europe in gun laws and maybe capitol punishment, as they sometimes execute the wrong person.
