Driving across from the Wirral tomorrow morning. Where are people parking? I've been recommended to park on Cargo Fleet Lane, about 5 minute walk from the ground.
Most people in Birkenhead are great. You will see your typical scally as you would in most cities, but don't believe everything people say about Birkenhead, it's not a bad place!!!
I've been in Birkenhead for the last 21 years, so not at the same time as you. I've managed to find a couple more fans here, in addition to my two sons!!!
First game in 1972., aged 7. Could go and count the match programmes I have (I've got one from every match) but probably about 900ish. Lived in Liverpool since 1994.

Hi mate,
I travel Liverpool to Brighton for the match quite regularly. Your best bet is to go to Victoria. If you're on the 13.47 out of Lime Street, and it arrives into Euston on time, you could, if you're quick across the station and the tube is kind, just get the 16.16 Hove train from...
Quite a few since my first game, April 1972. I have a match day programme from every game I've attended, so when I bored with some time on my hands I'll count all the programmes and let you know.
Just seen this thread re Bolton.
I work in Bolton, travelling everyday from the Wirral, I'll be gong to the match on 28th, if anyone wants to meet for a pint or two before.
I also have season tickets at the Amex, so if anyone wants a lift anytime and I'm driving down (rather than the train)...
I was at Warwick Castle earlier this week, and I saw 2 kids, one wearing the full Brighton kit (socks an all!) and one wearing a Seagulls baseball jacket. This plus my little'n wearing his Seagulls jeans, were the only football colours I saw all day.
Nothing to get excited about, however it was...
My son was mascot at Bolton on Saturday. He had a great time, so did I. We had a tour of the ground, including a visit to the Chairmans suite (where I had a good chat to Tony Bloom). He had a good run around on the pitch, then we both went in the changing rooms, where all the players were happy...
From my experience, the CSA will not take any history into account. If estranged parents have had an agreement between themselves and then one party applies for the CSA to get involved, no previous financial support is taken into account. The CSA will only make calculations on based on the...
Pmsl - yes - caravans and vicars studies spring to mind - happy days hunny - how are you xxxx
I remember you coming to visit me at GB camp at Broadstone Warren!!! Lol and nearly being caught!!!!
Haha, your memory is much better than mine! That was over 30 years ago!
I felt really embarrassed but that is nothing compared to some of the experiences I've had - but they are filed away in the DO NOT REMEMBER part of my brain!!!!
Do you think now would be an appropriate time to dig some of those out? I'm sure if I look far enough back I could find some we both...
Also, if the train manager isn't a miserable old sod, and first class is empty (likely!), he (or she) can downgrade first class carriages to standard, to allow people to sit down. Good luck guy's!
