Vicente for me, absolutely no doubt about it. Couldn't believe it - the actual guy who had been in Champions League finals and winning La Liga. At a club who had just been promoted from League One. Incredible.
Completely agree with the OP. I would hate us to become one of those clubs that jettisons the manager that's taken them up. Hughton has done a remarkable job here and deserves some loyalty from the club. Even if we go straight back down, I'd want him as the man to lead our challenge for...
I take your point, but supporting a team is all about seeing it progress and try and win things, isn't it? I can understand their frustration, particularly given their sky-high ticket prices, at the team seemingly never progressing beyond where they currently are and always having the same issue...
Completely agree. It hasn't worked out for him here and he hasn't developed how all parties would have liked. But I don't think that justifies the vitriol.
