Absolute monster.
He's got nearly 20 goals in all comps already and it's not even Halloween for another 3 weeks ffs.
He's got pace, finishing, power, strength, size, vision, instincts, composure, heading ability- it's like you took the best attributes from forwards of the last 20 years, put...
In a similar boat, realized I was never going to afford a Lambo so bought the Lego Sian version for something to do during lockdown. Wasn't cheap at about 700 Sing dollars but found it very cathartic and started a bit of an addiction. Took a while to build, mind. The architecture and vehicle...
100% agree with this. Was hoping he was going to get smashed by Klitschko in '15, but since then have really warmed to him.
Another in the sporting arena is Tom Brady. Hated him when he was just a robotic winning machine but watched that Superbowl comeback v the Falcons in amazement, had to...
Exactly. A huge part of the appeal is the overall atmosphere/environment. Plus I feel a lot more involved in the action when I can see the whole field not just from looking over the pitcher's shoulder on tv.
Done Old Yankee stadium, Great American ballpark in Cincinnati and Dodger stadium...
It's funny you say that. There is no other sport where I feel the difference between watching live and on tv is more pronounced.
On TV I find baseball tedious, unwatchable, too long, and mind numbing and just can't stick with a game after about 2 innings.
I've been to about 5 Major league...
No Country for Old Men. The film is basically identical to the book but the performance of Javier Bardem adds extra layers of menace to the character of Chigurh IMO.
I haven't read it but they turned a short story into one of the best films of all time with the Shawshank Redemption, so that...
'Go for it'
As in: 'Is this chair free?'
'Go for it.' Like it's some kind of mission. Just say yes, you goon.
Also the new one of people 'telling my truth'. It's your experience or opinion. Doesn't mean it's the truth, shut the F up.
Either Cairo, Egypt or stopping at a gas station in the middle of Nevada on a LA to Vegas drive. Both must have been pushing 50 and drinking water did nothing.

Whitney Houston's US national anthem at the '91 Superbowl is phenomenal and might be my favourite female performance ever.
Throw in Bo Jackson as well. Virtually unknown outside of America but the guy is the only All-Star ever in both baseball and American football. It's like making it into the PFA team of the year and then getting into the cricket team of the year the following season. Absolutely insane.
Done ten states so far. Favourite city has to be Miami and surrounding area. Not just south beach, but downtown, coconut grove, Bayside, out to Everglade city and Key West were all superb. Not a coincidence that my favourite world cities are coastal.
Chicago and NY are both fantastic.
Enjoyed...
