SW corner- arrived 6:50- waited for 1 person in front to get served, £7 for correct warm pie and Harveys. Only had to get boss over because girl on till unable to ring up a veggie pie. Appeared to have trouble understanding me, but very friendly despite the language barrier!
Half time- never...
There is still a lot of finishing off to be done in the SW corner- I reckon the NW will take a while if the SW is anything to go by- there is a whacking great whole in the outer facade still- presumably to allow entry and exit of larger gear.
You haven't been in the noisy SW corner then. Plenty of noise and banter, even an ejection for standing after the 3rd goal! I agree the eastern sections seem quieter, but they are full of occasionals and day visitors.
Underwhelming makeover- but no Albion game to report on this Monday. Will still pick one up at Falmer on Fri- much cheaper than programme. To be fair there is little they can do in the face of internet competition. I would happily buy a weekly digest of local news in print, but there just is not...
What is amazing is that wherever I have sat, it has always been fantastic in its own way.
Having finally got a season in the SW corner, not expecting it to be anyone's favourite, tbh, it is absolutely superb too- cheaper than lower West, but I can still meet my wealthy chums there at half...
It would appear the RP wardens only police the streets in the scheme, judging by the shocking parking ignored 100m away from parking zones when tiny infractions within are ticketed.
I don't know whether that is for convenience or whether legal restrictions only allow them to work in the scheme...
A trophy wife with a Phd?
She was probably sick to deaf of racist sniping about being foreign. And if you watch the webcast closely, it is an intelligent, good humoured jibe towards a particularly slow brained Tory councillor who seemed obsessed with the birthplace of people, as if being born...
But to police this new 4 hour limit properly funds must be put in place for wardens- hence the residential parking schemes. As you would know if you were "slightly more intelligent."
NInja, I am sure you are right to say there is a lot more to Caddis than just paternal leave. However, if I behaved like PDC towards any of my colleagues in similar situations, I would expect to be sued for constructive dismissal.
Furthermore, in the long term, will this be productive for...
Wasn't Caddis forced out because he dared take parental leave?
Di |Canio came out with some medieval he-man tripe you would expect from an uneducated facist idiot. It will end in tears! Can you imagine pros at the top of the Prem putting up with such nonsense, never mind their agents. An Italian...
I think the fact that Sheffield is more than twice the size of Brighton, plus SW's extended stays in the top flight over the last 50 years make Weds a bigger than us, though not big enough for the disrespect shown on that messageboard
We have had 1 game with a bigger attendance than them. Since they will end up with 40 000 at some games against Northern rivals and have strengthened well, I imagine they will endup with a larger crowd average than us, which still won't make them a Big Club, only bigger than us.
More or less a mirror of the SW, but in the NW. That could be a good spot if you want to sing but don't want to sit too low. Bargain too if priced like the SW.
Think they should finish the SW first- lots to do backstage!
Not sure how NW could be done during the season- you need to see the mess behind the SW to see the amount of work going on back there. NW would appear to be almost a free standing tier, unlike the SW which is mainly dug in to the...
