You have just reminded me of those glorious days when I lurked not just in here but on the wonderful "Bottom of the Barrel" forum which gave the opportunity for relaxed discussion with fans of other fallen giants such as Hartlepool (obsessed with slagging off "Darloid Scum") and Mansfield who...
Think that through a bit. He is standing on a stump with an uncomfortable prosthetic attached, and is also likely to fall over if jostled in a queue full of impatient bipeds . Would you like to queue on one leg for any extended period of time?
My son uses it. He's got about nine inches of one leg missing. Without asking him to adjust his trousers, how would you know whether he's a queue skipper or not?
I am a walking guide for a holiday company and gawd knows where the BHF have got their data from. They appear to have mixed up miles for KM/H
Even on flat ground, 2.5 mph or 4km/h is the baseline for good walkers- slower if in on poor terrain/ poor weather conditions/ at night etc.

Ditto! Not sure I would be desperately keen to attend the old sweat box right now, but those were the days. £1.70 return on the X1 bus in from Reading.
Following the Dieppe ferry option, without a car (£30 a head return)under-rated Rouen is an easy 1 hour train journey, loads of cheap hotels, tons to see and some cracking restaurants and bars! Too many tourist sites to list.
I second the ww1 or ww2 sites options but these are more easily...
Fantastic. So thanks to the Palace morons, the whole SW corner are being evicted, even though we were assured that by going SW corner, we would retain our seats in any cup games. The view is better in the South, but we are being binned to god knows where with them too. Nice reward to loyal...
It shouldn't be too tricky to catch in any Sports/Irish bar if you are staying near any decent sized town. Just watch out you don't choose a bar that closes up at 10; if it goes to extra time and pens, it could easily be close to 12 French time. Just hope they don't switch to live handball either.
I thought I might be away in France for the playoff final, and it looked like Bein2 was going to be showing it. Last summer Bein seemed to be on in most 3 star hotel rooms but not 2 star. This also allows you the chance to enjoy shows like "Match of ze day." No, really.
Just picked up a 20 quid ticket for South Africa. Lots of singles unless you want to go premium. Looks like mine is upper west, better bring the binoculars! More cheapies available for USA.
I lost a wallet in the old North stand over celebrating. Not only did some kind soul hand in my wallet, they left the season ticket stubs and the fiver that was in it, either of which I expected to be "taxed" as part of the deal for returning the cards! Thanks whoever you are.
