Last night I came off at junction 12 as it was backed up to junction 10 so the A24 wasn't an option. Took the M3 to junction 4, then the A331 and A31 to Guildford, and then the A281 to Horsham. Pretty smooth, but it was 9pm.
We were in the Uni car park and were directed to use the Eastern exit and not the Stanmer park exit after the match which surprised me. Took ages to get out and ended up taking the Eastbound A27 and then doing a U-turn at the first roundabout to avoid the very slow moving queue.
Hasn't that...
Not wishing to deny that the disabled parking situation has become a major source of needless frustration and anxiety for many people, I don't think the club would have much trouble legally in terms of the number of disabled parking spaces provided.
Firstly I think they'd argue that there is a...
That looks more like a chronological progression of the record home league crowd. Obviously nothing has topped the Fulham game which explains nothing appearing on the list after this date.
The issue is it's the screen is effectively blocking an exit to the aisle, so the only way to your seat is from the other end. Stadium regulations stipulate that you cannot be more than a certain number of seats from an aisle, 14 I think.
This is why you never see rows with more than 28 seats...
Out of interest did they say whether this is a permanent move, or are there any plans to move the screen to allow some or all of the seats to go back in?
Looks like there will be around 40 people affected. Ouch.
I think I'd feel pretty frustrated if I were in your position. I suppose there must be technical reasons for not doing so, but looking at the webcam it seems there is a couple of feet clearance above the screen so I wonder why it can't be raised slightly. Even moving it slightly to the right...
I think it was only the service from Lewes that can't be lengthened, but that's just one service per hour. There are 4 others. Two come from Seaford, one from Ore and one from Ashford which doesn't normally stop at Falmer. The Ashford service will be replaced with a longer train en route and...
Seems kind of ironic that the Piranhas have chosen to do a gig in the seemingly one remaining stadium in the country that doesn't play Tom Hark after every single goal.
My understanding is that Brighton and Hove council have retained some land from the development of the new academy and it is here that the match day parking will eventually be sited. In the link attached this area is marked in blue. Obviously this land cannot be used until the buildings on it...
I had the Chicken and Gammon. It was awesome. Vastly superior to your usual football fayre. I'm having a vegetarian one for dinner. She mentioned something about a petition for Balti pies and that once things have settled they intend to try out new fillings.
Charlie Oatway walked past us on the...
True. You can glean some info from the Sussex Uni Falmer Stadium page though:

They are being paid a 6 figure annual sum.
