The youth team play Stoke in the FA youth cup next Friday. Stoke streamed their last tie against Forest on Facebook. I expect they will do so again and give everyone an opportunity to check them out.
On the subject of Newcastle, I see there are only about 500 tickets currently on sale for our upcoming clash.
I had a peek at the ticket site yesterday morning and I think there were around 2000 available, so we have shifted about 1500 in a day and a half.
I expect some more will be released...
Yes. It was probably heading over in my opinion. It was struck from just past the penalty spot and Murray was on the 6 yard line. It was over 4ft in the air when it struck him and had another 6 yards to travel before it reached the goal. I think it would have been over 8ft off the ground by that...
Yes. Wigan 1999-2000, Division 2.

Gillingham, who had 42 points after 23 games finished above them in 3rd on 85 points and went up via the play-offs.
Third highest in the entire country in fact. Only Man Utd (490m) and Arsenal (233m) owe more, though I suspect Spurs new stadium will see them overtake us.
We parked for free on one of the roads off Fulham Palace Road with no issues whatsoever last season, possibly Larnach Road, only about 2/3 mile away. Free at weekends and bank holidays.
Wow. This pleases me. Never particularly liked Pulis after he weaselled out of a driving ban using the pathetic excuse it would cause exceptional hardship to Stoke City and the people of Stoke on Trent, which inexplicably the court fell for.
If you try and buy one from the Norwich website the price is £36. That suggests they may have been given at least some of E1H and that they have sold out of their allocation behind the goal.
I am a bit surprised by Villa getting an extra allocation to be honest. Sales seem pretty strong for this match. Only just over 1000 left on sale at the moment and there is still over 3 weeks to go. I suppose they will release various seats they have held back for club use and the school shelf...
On a similar theme there are only 1100 tickets on sale for Villa at the moment and they have sold all their 2700 tickets so that's looking even more likely to sell out than Norwich.

Depends on how much the franchise agreement specifies they should get penalised for not running a full service doesn't it? If they stand to lose more money by having insufficient drivers to run the full service than it costs to recruit and train them then that would provide an incentive to do...
Thanks for that. The fact the emergency timetable axed 341 services would support your figure. I am surprised they have managed to restore so many services already given that the training program probably only adds a net gain of 5 or 6 new drivers a month once retirements and resignations are...
