I am really uncomfortable about this quote. The implication seems to be if Chris Hughton were white he would have been given more time. Many clubs this season have jettisoned managers after far shorter runs of poor results so I don't think this stands up at all as far as the Albion are...
I am not sure PB has any clout with Southern, but who knows.
Looking at the timetable as it currently appears, anyone arriving at Brighton station after 14:17 will have to wait for the 14:47 and just miss the kick-off or, if that's too full for them to get on, catch the 15:05 and miss the first...
The usual match day shuttles are just part of the normal Monday to Saturday timetable. It's been like that since May 2018. All Southern seem to do now is lengthen trains rather than run extra trains, even if the match is on a Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if they have run 0 extra trains for...
"Enhanced" presumably means lengthened trains rather than additional trains in this instance, but you can scarcely blame people for thinking it means more trains. Chelsea all over again. FFS.
Incidentally, trains every 10 minutes on a Saturday has been the standard timetable for a year now.
Voted Green for the first time in a long time. Fed up with the lack of progress on sustainable transport and pollution. I don't think any other party take these issues seriously, despite their manifestos. FWIW my daughter was hospitalised 6 times in one year when she was 2 or 3 with breathing...
Big fan of Roberts. I am a bit confused about what position he plays though. UEFA has him down as CB v Switzerland, RB v Croatia and LB v Denmark. He looks like he has the skills to move up to midfield.
The UEFA U17 championship is also a qualifying tournament for the FIFA U17 world cup in...
That's gross though. There must be a cost associated with processing all speeding violations. I doubt it's small when you consider the whole process, including appeals, court summons etc. The process can only be automated up to a point.
Also, I dare say that figure is the total of fines issued...
I think the benefits of fewer accidents has other savings too. E.g. Fewer repairs to damaged street infrastructure. Less spending on benefits/more tax revenue as a result of fewer people rendered disabled/unfit to work because of traffic accidents.
I wonder how much net revenue there is from...
Unless there are thousands of people who have signed up for "My Albion+" waiting to snap up tickets tomorrow morning it's hard to see us selling out now IMO. I hope I am wrong, but think we'll fall 2 or 3 thousand short. 7800 is a lot to shift.
It also doesn't take into account 1901 tickets. They are a fixed income for the club for the season no matter how may games we play, but (if I understand correctly) Derby and the FA will be entitled to 55% of whatever value the club put on approximately three thousand 1901 tickets for the match...
"add in the fact that Frank Lampard is the manager of Derby and it all points to a bumper gate"
WTAF? I don't think I've ever considered the opposition manager when deciding whether to attend a match. Does this have any credibility at all?
Very sorry to hear this.
One thing I'd add is that is you follow the links on the club website to the 1901 club and click on "Join the 1901 Club" you are directed to a page which says that membership is sold out and has a link to a page to join the waiting list. So in theory the club should...
