    [Albion] Max Sanders

Missed the last 10 minutes of the half and the goal, but it's a surprisingly decent performance so far considering the number of absentees. Turkey look decent, but unspectacular. Sanders and Lewis are the two standouts for me.

Dreadful start for England, but now level. Sanders looks assured in his DM role. I'd love to see his passing stats as few seem to go astray.

Brewster, I believe is still injured, but the others are away with the first teams for pre-season. No Mount either, who is still young enough. Over 20 withdrawals in total I understand, and probably why the official squad has only been announced the day before their first match. Other countries...

[Football] To cheer us up a thread full of young English talent - possibly ready for 2022

Winger Emile Smith Rowe (17) played for the Arsenal first team v Borehamwood the other day (along with the more established Reiss Nelson 18). He's possibly one to keep an eye on over the next few years. He was in England's squad for the U17 world cup last year, but wasn't a first choice...

    [Albion] Max Sanders

Max Sanders has made the squad for the Uefa U19 Championship! First match tomorrow at 4:30 v Turkey on Sky. http://www.thefa.com/news/2018/jul/16/england-u19s-squad-named-for-euro-finals-160718 Due to it being so late in the year it's a very inexperienced squad. Top 5 teams qualify for the...

Something like this maybe? Excel even seems smart enough to cope with leap years without any special programming.

I was hoping Patrick Roberts would move to Leicester as part of the Mahrez deal. He needs to get away from Man City IMO as he's not likely to get any opportunities there.

[Football] To cheer us up a thread full of young English talent - possibly ready for 2022

I am trying to keep an open mind as you never really know what goes on behind the scenes, but the alarm bells are ringing. I've read he's quite shy and introverted so maybe it's a man management thing. For his ability he should have at least 20 first team appearances by now, but all he's got so...

[Football] To cheer us up a thread full of young English talent - possibly ready for 2022

Jadon Sancho. Absolutely love him. If he stays injury free this coming season I'd be surprised and disappointed if he hasn't picked up a first senior cap. I think Phil Foden is a fantastic prospect too, but much as I want to be wrong, I think it'll be a season of limited opportunities at Man...

Who knows. I am finding it hard to take this thread seriously now. Back to work for me.

I am probably missing something, but the registration HN15 ANV isn't recognised by the DVLA. HN15 ASV however is (which is what the video still looks like it could be) and is supposedly a blue Hyundai. Confused.

    [Sussex] monks farm planning

I think anyone hoping that this development will be rejected might need to be realistic. It's not some out of the blue speculative idea. It was developed with the local plan in mind. Here is the policy on New Monk's Farm: As far as I can see, albeit from a quick scan, it meets the criteria...

That was my initial thought. The current windows are quite small and don't take advantage of the view of the pitch at all, so perhaps they are installing larger ones. I've only been in the East Stand 1901 lounge once, but I remember it being quite long and narrow so the temporary screen probably...

[Football] England v Costa Rica (on ITV from Elland Road)

Absolutely. The technical levels are at a very high level now, and in particular the U17s last season were absolutely fantastic to watch. The polar opposite of watching the seniors over the last 10-15 years. The technical foundations are in place. I don't really know why, but PL managers seem...

[Football] England v Costa Rica (on ITV from Elland Road)

You are correct. The U17s deservedly won the World Cup, beating Brazil in the SF and Spain in the final 5-2 (without their arguably best player Jadon Sancho for the knock out rounds) and were also runners-up in the Euros. U19s won the Euros. In addition the U20s won the world cup. I cannot...

[Football] Close season signings- who is on Chris Hughton's (realistic) wishlist?

True, I'm sure we'd be an attractive option as far as the player is concerned, but I don't know how much say they have. As I understand it, if several clubs are interested it usually comes down to who is prepared to pay Chelsea the most. I'm sure player development is a factor too, but money is...
