I think the chances of him being sold in January are near zero.
I don't think there's much chance of him being sold next summer either if we stay up.
We don't need the money and he's contracted until 2022.
If we play him in the PL next season and he puts in the level of performance for us...
I see you have avoided putting a name to this, presumably to spare the moron concerned embarrassment.
A quick google reveals it's Noel Whelan. I think the ex-Leeds player and current Leeds match-day commentator maybe letting his allegiances cloud his so-called 'thinking'.
If we sold him in...
I didn't know much about this player prior to this season other than he was on loan at Wycombe and had featured in a few England youth teams, but I am a big fan now.
Lots to like about him: hard to dispossess, quick, can dribble, scores and assists, can play anywhere in midfield, accurate...
We went on a RC cruise from Southampton last year and I watched Brighton v Man Utd onboard. I think they had every game televised by Sky and BT Sports available. I'd be very surprised if the cup final was not shown.
No idea about their methodology but Smarterscout's algorithm really likes us. They have our most likely finishing position as 5th and give us a 77% chance of a top half finish. 4.5% of a champions league spot (!!) and just 0.2% chance of relegation.
Wow. A lot of Merson-esque comments along the lines of "if I haven't heard of a signing then they must be sh*t"
Far too much weight given to a lack of PL managerial experience too IMO.
The one on Falmer Road. They lived on McWilliam Road.

There seems to be an hourly service scheduled between Brighton and Victoria, but the last one back is 9:20pm. So if the rumours about 2 8pm kick offs are true and our game gets moved to that slot then taking the train is out.
As far as I can tell most of the underground is running, but most of...
4 or 5 minutes, but I was sure I had commented on the match (and specifically on White's performance) for the benefit of my less loyal friends who had not bothered going, and I was curious to look back on what I said. I will remind everyone of my uncanny judgement when he gets his first England...
He had 2 starts in 2016 in the league cup for us against Colchester and Oxford when he was 18. I was at the former, and actually remember being impressed with how assured he was on the ball.
Edit: Just checked my WhatsApp messages from that evening:
"Norwood is class", "Holla is still s*it"...
