I just can't see much scope for further growth in attendances at Crawley to be honest. We are already averaging 3000 there and the stadium only holds 6000. It's miles from Brighton and it sucks for anyone not driving.
I believe the Sussex University Car Parks are free on Sundays.
When we played Arsenal at the Amex in 2019 the crowd was 5265 and reported as an all time WSL record (for any side astonishingly). Whereas some clubs have since made great strides in getting bigger crowds, we haven't really built on that. COVID and some poor results have not helped.
Ticket...
There is a limit, but it's not an issue as it is 50 events. The WSL would have to expand significantly for this to be a potential issue. Even then I'm sure the council would be very amenable to increasing the limit.
I guess the OG had 0xG, so that might partially explain it.
Comparing this season to last, our (UnderStat) xGA has gone from the 4th best, to the 7th worst, which is concerning. It's gone from 1.3 per game to 1.8. We need to improve or we can forget about the Champions League next season.
It was refused, but the applicant presumably appealed, as there is/was a public inquiry. I cannot find out any details on what happened or when it's likely to make a

I had a similar error on my Android phone a while back. It didn't work with my browser, but after I changed the default browser to something else, it uploaded to my wallet with no errors.
You'd never guess we are the leading scorers in the division from his selections.
I suppose his selections do roughly correspond to the league table, apart from Chelsea and Man Utd.
Updated two days ago though. Evan Ferguson is in the top 25 strikers list and it mentions his hat-trick against Newcastle.

I cannot screenshot scan codes in my wallet. I get a message saying "Can't take screenshots due to security policy". Presumably this means most other people cannot do this either.
"Fanzone on the surrounding walkways, complete with overseeing boundaries." - I wonder what these plans will look like? Is it possible they will try buy some land off Brighton University for this, perhaps where the prefabs were. Presumably the Uni is strapped for cash, given they have announced...
So there you go, they still sold out, despite the changes. And hundreds of fans who otherwise might not have stood a chance of getting a ticket are now able to attend.
Why the insult?
This concerns away matches, specifically ID checks. It seems to me an attempt to distribute away tickets more fairly, reduce touting and stop people jumping the queue.
I don't know if they propose any way of changing the name on away tickets after purchase. Seems unlikely for...
It seems the opposite to me: a whole lot of extra admin / expense for Newcastle Utd that they are choosing to undertake. Plus (as I understand it) if they are left with unsold tickets they still have to reimburse the home club for all the tickets they were allocated. So if these measures reduce...
