Pissed it down so hard in Glawstershire this morning I couldn't get a signal on Sky, thus couldn't watch the Ashes ... I think the rain did me a favour!!
It is at the moment, but new additions to reserves are generally small and are not replacing that being produced by a long way.
It'll run out sooner rather than later .. then they can have their miserable country back (just hope my missus doesn't read this!!)
Its not finished yet!
Despite the game last saturday agaisnt the AB's, which was to celebrate the opening of the new roofed south stand, the stand seemed to be lacking one major feature ...... a roof.
Apparently they were still bolting down some of the seats when the gates opened.
LI: good luck against glaws, I think you may need it!! Someone needs to put them in their place though, too many glaws fans here at work that need taking down a peg or two!
Bath are up for a tonking at Wycombe this weekend I fear:down:
Hope you signed the Keep Rugby at the Rec petition. If...
LI - wasn't the best of games was it! Maybe that might kick-start your season, but from what I saw we're both gonna struggle this year (although call-ups and injuries appear to have decimated both us and you?). Hope you saw the game ok, given our megre facilities (for me the joys of supporting...
I've partied with evil (not that I knew it at the time). When I was about 6 or 7 I had a birthday party and as well as my friends, my mum invited the son of a friend of the family who lived in our road in Lancing. He was a couple of years older, and 10 or so years later on (mid-80's), he did in...
Didn't realise the Royal Fleet Auxilary where in charge of Twickers, better let the RFU know!!
Not all Rugby fans are the upper class toff stereotype Albion Dan appears to dislike. Granted, many of the Twickenham crowd are, as they are usually corporate arseholes who only think Rugby is played...
Defo the Bear.
They can outrun a racehorse over a short distance (allegedly).
On Grouse Mountain in Vancouver they have a couple of orphaned Grizzly Bears (and they are big buggers). They experimented by adding some wolves into the enclosure to simulate "wild" conditions. There was an...
I went to the Willows, in the days they had those nice 1970's concrete play things (train, boat, some big spiral thing), .... solid concrete with a drop to solid concrete below. Always a cracked head or two each year. Bet they ain't there now .... probably some big cushioned thing?
So Irene Ave...
I was cutting the hedge of our house in manchester, feeling very despondant after Mayo's OG. Couldn't listen to the radio or anything, too nervous. When the missus told me we'd equalised, I chucked the shears in the air and narrowly missed taking the missus's head off!
If the queues at the tolls are the real problem, why don't they use a camera system like they use for the Congestion Charge. I guess a lot of the traffic there is daily, so they could introduce ?cheaper season tickets/weekly passes in addition????
