Having had to go through the processes and hoop jumping to get a shotgun licence I can see where the police are coming from on this (it could have been used in that time with no potential trace), but it does seem a little harsh.
Should have just called the police straight away!
Chances are the car wouldn't have taken a dive in results, as its problem was generating heat in the tyres, hence a lack of grip, particularly affecting one lap qualifying speed. Hamiltons style (harder on tyres than Button) would probably have generated the heat and brought it nearer the front...
Not one of your common trades, but the guys I have worked with who actually work on the drilling floor of both offshore and onshore oil rigs (roughnecks, roustabouts etc) are some of the scariest people I've ever met:eek:
I'd vote for Spa too, and will probably go again this year, such a great circuit and reasonably cheap, even for grandstand tickets. Will probably do Silverstone as well, and the MotoGP there the month before.
tickets for silverstone are on sale now.

My girlfriend at the time father had just died (he'd had Parkinsons for years, so kind of a relief anyway), and we were sorting the funeral etc. On a lighter note, I was also gearing up to go on a trip to Egypt leaving on Boxing day for two and a half weeks with 25 friends:drink::drink::drink...
Can agree with kidney stones, certainly the most pain I've ever felt.
Got cramp about 4 inches above my knee the other night, and then caught in the duvet trying to stand up, making it worse .. that smarted a bit!
Stupid scouse tw@ts, backyard breeding of potentially dangerous dogs which were probably only intended to be sold to irrsponsible chavscum as status symbols. No sympathy. Might wake up a few more of the t*ssers before their kids are devoured!
Gives responsible dog owners and breeders a bad name...
Saw the first set on Alwoodly Lane in Leeds on the way home tonight. Way too early, but admitedly quite tasteful. Its the poshest part of Leeds and generally the lights are pretty impressive (without the tackiness of inflatable Homer Simpsons etc though!)
Chin up MB, that was the most eloquent description of a break-up I've ever read on here.
Plenty more fish in the sea apparently, but then again, who's looking for fish?
I hope the cars is not a dog, as neither have good car development or set up skills. Hamilton used Alonso's in his first year, but admitedly has got much much better over the last two years, and has really stepped up to the plate this year. Button has used Barry'cellos set-ups for most of this...
