The Tories who run the BBC play a very clever game. Their political coverage is heavily biased towards the right while they publish lots of stories that might be considered culturally progressive. That's why so many people accuse them of left wing bias.
VAR should be used for one thing only: did the whole of the ball cross all of the line? This can be done with sensors (like Hawkeye in tennis). No reason why it can't be pretty much 100% accurate.
And we have the audacity (as a country) to label other nations as 'corrupt' and 'banana republics'. The manipulation here is just as rampant, though maybe less visible to average peeps.

I've been giving this some serious thought and I think we need to have a couple of definite game plans:
Plan A: Keep it tight at the back, don't let them score but make sure we score at least 1 goal.
Or
Plan B: If they do score, make sure we score at least one more goal than them. I reckon...
