In more news, whilst we are on the subject of politicians who will say anything to stay in power:
Sir Keir Starmer will reduce carbon emissions in the UK by 81%
Regardless of your personal political affiliation….. who read that and actually believed it?
After his post match interview where he blatantly digs out Haaland with his “stay humble” comment - that would be a brilliant line to get into any Fab chant 😊
Of course not - it’s not like Starmer needs to rely on the support of the unions’ general secretaries with 2 seats each on the Labour National Executive Committee… which Unite have 🙄
So it is definitely not the case that she has nothing to do with Labour and I expect Starmer cares a little more...
I think he needs to play for a team whereby his quality means that he is the first name in the team sheet every week. I somehow doubt that that is the level of club thst Enciso is expecting to leave for.
His development will be much better if he starts every week leading a team that depends...
The thing is Graham is not in the least bit concerned with the internal political wrangling of the Labour Party at all - she’s all about the membership and the Union. She’s reduced financial support for the Labour Party and refused to endorse the recent Manifesto. Her Facebook shows her in...
What a situation we are in! Never dreamed I’d see a thread like this but it’s valid. I’m uncertain… first thought is of course the skipper starts when he’s fit … as nd I think the game management and experience would still tip the balance for me but he’s no certainty to step straight back in...
McCluskey writes at some length about something called Unite’s “leverage strategy”, organised by Graham This, he explains, is the strategy his union adopted when disputes were at their most intractable, or could not be settled by strike action alone. If a company sacked one of McCluskey’s shop...
He’s the player most likely to “leave like Trossard” in my opinion, his head goes on the pitch … feels like when he’s on the wrong end of a crunching tackle the only way he doesn’t get a red is if he can’t catch the player that did it . Bit fed up with the shooting from any where 🙄
General Secretary of Unite. Hardliner- not a fan of Starmer
Oh she’s a problem alright Harry no doubt about it. My guess is she will push her luck with this Government and may even have a part to play in it’s downfall.
People know what they are voting for … not the first time the polling has been wrong
It’s incomprehensible in the tiny little NSC left wing bubble I know but those politicians are extremely popular in a lot of places and shocking as it may seem it’s not because everyone else is stupid 😆
The hilarious part about the opinions on Trump and the people that voted for him is that the majority agree with him (and voted him in) …..and (some) of the minority are reduced to hurling insults and proclaiming loudly their superior intellect…
Perhaps you might include a whole raft of union leaders/members from the last couple of decades … Len McCluskey perhaps… Sharon Graham … too many to mention
If I remember correctly… and it all seems a bit vague to be fair… Brown was hunkered down in number 10 - some sort of “nobody voted me in here and I’m not leaving “?? Cameron and Clegg were thrashing out a deal and the one policy Clegg (bizarrely) clung to was a vote on proportional...
I’m going to struggle if they only release one episode a week, like they have with tulsa king. Second season of the Diplomat just came out and I was able to watch it straight through… hoping to do the rest of Yellowstone in one sitting
