As a North Stand STH, this is exactly why I want the upper tiers open. I've sat in the East and West lower loads of times for friendlies and cup games now and it's not that different. I really want to give the upper tiers a try!
Yep - thought that as soon as I posted it. Although a quick tap and shoot with the wall 10 yards away is still probably much preferable to a drop ball with the nearest player 4m away.
I saw what I think was one of his last gigs in the UK, playing the Fleadh in Finsbury Park in support of the Pogues that summer (with the Mescallaros).
So many great tribute songs to the great man, but this is my favourite:
Presuming you don't really want to go too far from the centre to real local pubs, but just want to avoid Temple Bar - McDaids just off Grafton Street is a decent shout.
Does anyone know an email address for the club that goes to a general inbox to be passed on to the appropriate person? It's not about tickets or supporter liaison stuff, and I don't really want to email Paul Barber himself!
This website seems to think that they are relatively well compensated for having loads of England internationals. I have no idea of what a rugby salary is, but £2 million a year I was under the impression would pay for some decent replacements for 7 or so internationals...

But you're not penalising them are you, you're "penalising" their children, by not giving them a leg up against others whose parents didn't acquire £700k (which is still an awful lot of money - I would most definitely call it wealth).

I'll put my hand up - I am very much in favour of huge inheritance tax introductions and it is for that exact reason. I am aware it is very much the politics of envy but I don't think that makes it void. I am a public sector worker who earns a nice salary but nothing exciting. My wife's parents...
I thought he was decent last night, whilst we were dominating a lot went through him. Possibly made a few bad decisions in the final third, but so did everyone.
