I believe they said they only need to trace people you’ve been in close contact with for over 15 minutes, so unless you stand nattering to a shop keeper or another shopper for ages, shops are unlikely to come into the equation.
Could it be that some deaths around that time were put down to flu as obviously covid won’t have been tested for ?
I know the flu death rate this year was quite high, and put down to the flu jab not being as successful as in previous years ?
I’ve read the same, and can certainly see the theory behind it, and just about everyone I’ve spoken to had symptoms in December and January so I guess it’s a real possibility.
The antibody test will go a long way to proving or unproving it I guess.
Exactly what I’ve been saying all along, all that is needed is for people to make sensible decisions, if it’s busy go somewhere else !
People cannot complain about the lack of social distancing if they are part of the problem!
If it goes the same way as sars it’s a very real possibility in my opinion.
I also think you’ll be waiting a long time for your jab, even if they found a vaccine today, realistically it will take years to vaccinate the entire population.

Our used car salesman has sold 15 in the last 2 weeks and can’t get new stock in quick...
Hopefully might lower the fear factor a little.
I know it’s a very transmissible virus and we all should be very cautious, but in the long run there’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to lead normal lives.
Some people are genuinely terrified to step outside their houses in case the virus gets...
Forgive me and please don’t think I’m judging you in the slightest, but what is your thinking behind your decision that it will be ok to send them in September and not in June ?
There’s no guarantee that this situation will be any better in September in fact I’d go as far as to say I think...
I’m sure I read the clinical trials finish in September, that would mean the government are proceeding with mass production of the vaccine before trials are finished.
I’m very much a glass half full, so this wasn’t a post attacking the government, merely trying to understand the timelines and an...
