But it's not what Barber says, is it? He doesn't just release a statement he's made up! It's the club's official line (from Bloom down) so it is supporting the club.
And my annoyance isn't so much your opinion as you take over every thread with your moaning. For example, even in the JFC/March...
We definitely shouldn't be looking to sell Ulloa, certainly not until we have a new manager. The club have to sort out the out of contract players but anything else has to wait until they can talk to the new manager.
You really are becoming like Husty. It is so boring. Maybe the club should check with you before making every decision to make sure it has your seal of approval!
Just because people don't slag off the club, they are like sheep. It's pathetic.
And Oscar isn't spinning his side of the story? No, obviously the club must be completely wrong and terrible and there can't be two sides to every story.
I thought Greer was out of contract but other than that, I agree completely. We've got a decent basis for a team and hopefully can build on that.
On another note, I'd like to see CMS start with Ulloa next season (not necessarily 4-4-2 but as a wide player in a front three). Looked good coming...
I'm pretty sure that Gus and Oscar left for different reasons. Poyet had been allowed to bring his own players in. That whole team was his except for a few youth team products. He may have left because of the budget but he had a massive impact on who we signed with the money available.
Oscar is...
It's a shame that one's who moan always shout the loudest. I'm sure that will have me down as someone who worships the club but what exactly are the club supposed to do? If they issued a statement with everything that happened, they'd be accused by people like you of lacking class. I genuinely...
If Orlandi has gone, it will be shame but his injury record this year has been terrible. He was brilliant last year but however good a player is, if they're not fit for most of the season, we can't afford to keep them on.
Steve Clarke for me. Not sure he would come but I thought he did a really good job at West Brom and was unlucky to be sacked. Would be delighted if he came here.
No real idea who we will go for. It could easily be another foreign coach who most people wouldn't think of.
I'm not sure why but I wouldn't be happy with Sherwood. He's just managed a team to sixth in the Premier League so logically he should be great for us but for some reason I would not be pleased if he came here. That's not to say I wouldn't back him if he did come just he wouldn't be my choice.
Thank you Oscar. Sadly this thread has turned into some fans slagging him off, which is pathetic. This was handled in a completely different way to the chaos of last year.
I can see both sides of the story as I realise we need to work within a budget but I do think we've lost a really good...
That's not true though. If a player can last 30 minutes, you might stick them on the bench as an option but you wouldn't start them. Not saying that is the case with CMS, just that it doesn't always apply.
It really angers me that people feel the need to slag off our manager in the middle of the play off semi final. It sounds like there have been issues with Ince's fitness recently (as there often are when young players play their first full season of first team football). But you use it to slag...
Fair enough. I actually agree with you, assuming he is fit enough to start. It sounds like Buckley is out so I would play CMS for him but I imagine KLL or March will come in instead.
I'm not nervous. We've had a great season anyway.
However, this could also be a great away day. Can't help feeling we're due some luck against Derby. They've beaten us by one goal three times this year and every one has been a bit fortunate.
Let's not forget, this thread started with you saying if we play 1 up front today we don't want promotion. Given what you've said yourself since about CMS and Hoskins and we only have 1 striker who's started a game this season, would you agree that was an odd thing to say?
I'm not LuaLua's biggest fan but the fact is we don't have anyone else who can change a game like him. He's definitely our player with the most explosive pace. Seeing as the general agreement is we need more pace, letting him go would be odd. I would definitely take the extra year on his contract.
It feels like a drunken pub rant when all his mates would just nod to humour him and then take the piss the next day. I'm a little worried for his sanity
