[Albion] Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Even with that it’ll still look silly in a 63k stadium. Annoying, Portsmouth are another one of those clubs who can pull in the fans when they’re crap, although whether that’s in part due to some Barnsley-esque (or is it Bradford?) cheap season ticket deal I’m not sure.

[Albion] Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

63k is a ‘big’ mistake. In 2023, when Guardiola and the Arabs are gone they’ll be 33,186 rattling around that stadium on a PL match day and 18,576 for midweek cup games if they’re very lucky. Ridiculous willy waving gesture. No way do they have the fan base for a 60k plus stadium.

Surely the easiest solution is to rotate the stadium through 45 degrees so the West becomes the North.

    [Albion] Barber on extra seats

Taking of 'border seats,' in the very last north and south WSU end seats before the price drops you're getting effectively the same view as your opposite number across the steps in the cheaper seats. Who buys those seats?

[Football] Pröpper, post match interview yesterday.

Bit early to be so gloomy about our prospects - there are no guarantees of anything in this league outside of Man City and Liverpool, everything else is ‘up for grabs,’ you only have to look at the Newcastle and Palace results this weekend to appreciate that. We’ll be fine.

    [Albion] Barber on extra seats

From the club website today: ‘There were 30,090 fans packed into the Amex for our second home match in as many weeks’ Why write that? Do they think we’re complete idiots? I’m sure TB must rue the fact that the TV cameras don’t face the West Stand rather than the ESL (Empty Stand Lower). The...

The one that was always 100% in recent years, no buffering at all, was ‘ripple.is’ but that one is sadly no longer.
