Lord Nelson used to do Adnams out of the barrel and a very good lunch. I'm headed there with a few of Ipswich season ticket holders who still seem to rate it.
Should be an interesting battle in midfield with Bowyer and Bullard against Bridcutt and Vicente/Harley/Dicker. Hopefully their old legs will be a bit slow.
Does anyone know how many we're taking?
This time I wasn't prepared to take a chance. I am not going to have some upstart tell me how I should support my club when I've been going for years and from a distance.
Oh for f***'s sake stop trying to blame someone. He was exposed for all three goals. Wrong footed for the first, unlucky for the second and didn't have a chance for the Murray goal. I wish you'd stop blaming one player for a bad performance. That's obviously how it works in a team game. He's a...
Is there still a discussion about this? 3-1 down to Palace at home with their fans about to leave? Why not leave before they have the chance to gloat like the gobby pricks they are? Especially if you're heading back to London. Sake.
Yes, a fair result. They pressed the midfield really well. Came home gutted. It's as good as Palace will get and as bad as we will get. I am using this as my medicine.
Trying to make an impact again but that's totally inappropriate to a football club. Lots of people love football. How do you think you get from 7,500 to 20,000? Trendy? Please. What a boring post.
Would agree but Calderon didn't play. Think his loss was a big issue on the right. We lacked our usual penetration on that side. Barnes was moved out there early in the second half as we lacked balance. I think we missed him a lot.
Wrong time to ask but wondering if anyone on here does them. Just started this year and love them. Potential for some relay fundraising? Bang up for it......
I think you're right. Well it was enough for me! I have a very vague memory of us being 9th and them 7th and thinking we were about to quietly outflank them in the world of football. Maybe next season.
I was very young but I went with my brother in 1982 and we beat Arsenal; his team.
I reckon it's Arsenal in '82 but I can't be sure. It was with my older brother who's a Gooner. I was a young lad and utterly inspired by the swaying blue crowd. Talking of which it's absolutely brilliant to see...
