Why do we go so passive after we score? Looked quality then back off as soon as we get a lead :nono: Well played Palace and fair play to Muzza for not celebrating.

No doubt, they wanted it we didn't. As soon as the first went in we sat back and invited them on to us, truly dreadful performance

Outplayed and outsung! ultimately very disappointing but we move on! Well done Crystal Palace, no football fan can deny they were the better team tonight, however much it hurts as sn Albion supporter!

I hate losing to anyone but this is unacceptable. In fact, I don't even wanna talk about it anymore!!!!!

It really hurts but you've just got to hold your hands up and admit they were the better side. God it feels shite to say that.

Fair play guys, you've taken it well.

I thought we were totally outplayed for the opening 20 minutes and thought we were in for a hiding. That said, 2nd half we were very good.

Your lads looked out on their feet in the end, think the Leeds & Liverpool games seriously took there toll.

Yes, a fair result. They pressed the midfield really well. Came home gutted. It's as good as Palace will get and as bad as we will get. I am using this as my medicine.

Still cannot believe how we folded tonight. Full credit to them though because they really wanted it and played well. Our midfield looked dire.

not 3, but i could see them getting back into the game for most of the second half. we didnt seem to have the same hunger for it - or the energy? gave them too much time and space.

Do I take it that Ambrose was on side for their second goal, when the ball was first played in? I thought he was off, but no one seems to have mentioned it - has it been shown on tv?

gotta give Palace some credit, they pushed up played a much higher line and swamped the midfield, totally stopped us playing. We had 65 minutes to address it though and we didn't even come close.

One of the guys I was with was adamant he was offside, but the TV wasn't clear. I suspect he wasn't because none of our players seemed to claim (I'm not even sure they cared at that point). We also thought CMS was offside when he won the penalty v Leeds but replays showed he wasn't.
