Total gimmick, a passing fad, died on its arse. See also "curve screen" TV's.
A mate of mine bought a 3D TV when Sky were all over it with their dedicated 3D channels for movies and sports. Little by little it all ebbed away, basically because it was shit.
There has only really been three TV...
Some decent saves, for sure. But "world class" ? Thats setting a pretty low bar isn't it.
Like I say, people throw the world class thing around far too much, IMO. A year or so ago loads on here were saying Bissouma was world class and our best midfielder of all time. We need to calm down a bit...
We have to define "world class" then. Because for me its not just playing at International level and being capable. Its the absolute elite of the elite at that level, who are regularly capable of doing something truly brilliant. But perhaps I am in a minority. Mac is great obvs, he's arguably...
Well...people are actively EMPLOYED to take care of all that.
Sure we could have Lewis pushing a broom round and Mac picking up socks and sorting out all the laundry. But I'm not sure that would be the best use of their time in the dressing room.
Yeah, I think that is certainly thrown around a little too lightly by some. Solly's been brilliant this season for us. But WORLD CLASS ? C'mon. He's not even been capped.
No idea what that's supposed to be based on.
And there was me last week laughing at the Wolves manager making 4 subs at half time, long after the game was gone. Turned to my sister and said "well, now if THAT doesn't tell you he's picked the wrong team..."
...oh
Renfield
Based on Dracula's faithful servant, who over the centuries has been tasked with bringing him corpses to feed on. They wind up in modern-day New Orleans, where Renfield, who by eating bugs gains super Matrix-type violent fighting powers to carry out his grisly job, decides he wants...
I keep seeing this.
If I was in a cinema in the middle of nowhere with 30,000 other punters who would all be leaving at the same time, the vast majority on public transport on a Sunday service, and the film was absolute SHIT - then yeah.
I probably would.
