Rohan Ince new three year deal

Who would you drop out of Kayal and Stephens? Both on superb form. I'm afraid Ince is a victim of the start we've had to the season but the fact that he's signed this deal suggests he's happy to bide his time rather than wanting to leave.

Rohan Ince new three year deal

Very pleased with this. Certainly seems to be a lot of good news coming out of the club at the moment. Looks like we'll have a really strong squad going in to next season (or make a lot of money from selling players) and hopefully won't need the massive amount of signings we've had for the last...

[Cricket] Worcs v Sussex 01-09-15 New Road 10.30 start

Great result for Sussex. League table looks a lot better than it did at the start of the week!

    O'Grady To Forest?

Whilst generally you are right with that, there were occasions when he setup goals e.g. Fulham away and Derby home. However, he was more effective when we were ahead and the onus was using up time rather than attacking.

Rate our transfer window out of 10?

9/10. Can't believe anyone wouldn't give it at least 8/10. It was almost perfect. Possibly lacking that final striker but Hemed and Baldock are looking like they can build a partnership and we hopefully have goals in midfield. Most valuable of all is that these are all our players (and other...

    O'Grady To Forest?

I think that sums it up quite well. He's a good option to come on when we're ahead and need to hold up the ball. It works well and he's done okay when coming on in league games. The issue is he's not going to change a game if we're a goal behind and has never looked like scoring enough goals to...

    Nathan Byrne Swindon...apparently we're interested...

I assume our interest in both of those ended when we signed Manu.

[Albion] There is ZERO chance of SIGNING anyone today.

Looking unlikely we'll sign anyone now but I'm a bit surprised that we're loaning out O'Grady if we don't sign anyone. Leaves us with only Hemed, Baldock and Zamora. Or maybe they feel Hambo/Harper will fill in when fit (and Manu in the meantime) or we're happy to wait for the loan window.

Is Hughton the man to take us FORWARD ?

That would mean we go up playing positive football so everyone would be happy!

Is Hughton the man to take us FORWARD ?

Fair enough. I think, considering what he achieved at Newcastle and Birmingham that it is a very harsh opinion. I hope he proves you massively wrong. The early signs this season are positive.

Naylor suggests the window is essentially shut

I agree. Can't see it myself. The idea that Calleri, who is so highly rated in Argentina, would come to us is ridiculous. However, I've been stunned so far by this transfer window (especially us keeping Dunk rather than selling him to fund other buys) so I'll be hopeful until the window closes...

Is Hughton the man to take us FORWARD ?

I agree. Same old, never suggesting we should sack a manager after four months in charge. I stand by that policy. If you want to follow it, maybe Leeds are a better team for you. You were writing him off. In various threads you said he should be sacked. Is that not writing him off these days...

Naylor suggests the window is essentially shut

There's no way we'll sign another full back. Rosenior played there in an FA Cup Final for Hull so is fine for cover.

    Player Ratings - Ipswich Away

Absolutely. I think I said on another thread, it reminded me of Derby when I've seen them play recently (but with the final finish that they lacked at the Amex last season). Breaking at pace and looking a threat. When did we last have 21 shots in an away game? Really impressed with the amazing...

Is Hughton the man to take us FORWARD ?

No credit where it's due for the start to the season. You wrote him off based on a month last year (we'd been pretty good up to the beginning of March and playing positively, especially at home) but you won't praise him. With comments like this, I do wonder whether some supporters (not just you)...

Naylor suggests the window is essentially shut

I don't disagree another striker would be great but I am so happy with the business we've done so far and the position we're in, that I'm going to be happy if we don't have any major moves tomorrow.

Is Hughton the man to take us FORWARD ?

There's no point gloating about this as the same people will be moaning and putting up these pointless polls again if we lose a couple of games. It's just pathetic. Anyone who wrote Hughton off based on last year really needs to take a look at themselves. He deserved a crack at bringing his own...

Naylor suggests the window is essentially shut

I think that's a bit harsh. Hemed and Baldock are showing real signs of building a partnership and Zamora and Manu are both options up front. We have enough to sustain a challenge, although it would be amazing to have signed another striker. It's probably better to think how you would have felt...

Naylor suggests the window is essentially shut

Not sure he's saying that. No big deals doesn't suggest that we won't offload a few fringe players or sign the Dagenham player who has been mentioned. Also, not sure the club tells Naylor much and things do change late on deadline day. Not saying anything will happen but you can't rule it out...

    Lualua

Can you imagine if the club denied every Twitter rumour that was untrue. They'd spend their whole time issuing statements. While you can never be certain in football, I'm pretty confident it is complete rubbish. Why would we sell our best player so far this season when we've been turning down...
