I was sure we're top of the league but, having seen the top page of NSC after yesterday's game, I assume I must be wrong and we're actually bottom six.
Remind me of the abuse Barnes got when he was here. He was never that prolific too. We had the same problem with him and CMS the last Poyet season. We dominated games and couldn't finish teams off. Ulloa signed and we got the most points in the league after that.
Completely agree with this. It was frustrating not to win today but looking back at the first 10 games overall, we have had a fantastic start to the season.
It doesn't mean we shouldn't look to improve but threads like this calling Baldock the problem and the one on Greer seem unnecessary when...
Completely agree with this. We've been so good this season that there's not been much room for negativity. However, a couple of draws and a few players out and suddenly people are lining up to write off a player who has played 45 minutes for us. It's very odd.
Completely agree. They usually stand by the referee, even when he's completely wrong (like in this case), but for some reason they decided to rescind Gabriel's red card despite the fact he clearly kicked out. Maybe it is one rule for the big clubs and another for everyone else, as others have...
Posts like this are everything that's wrong about NSC. A young player comes in from overseas and he's already being judged. There's a massive difference between him and Uwe. Uwe is much older and more able to deal with it and he was playing a position we needed to throw him into given the...
Maybe. If that's true it's a sad reflection of the game.
Also annoys me that they presumably don't have to justify the decision. I assume the club just get a letter saying appeal rejected rather than an explanation. How anyone can say that deserves a three game ban is beyond me. So, the referee...
What a complete joke the FA are. How is Gabriel's ban for his sending off against Chelsea rescinded (when he clearly kicked out at Costa, whatever the cause of it) and Murphy is banned for three games for slipping over. How do these idiots run the game over here when so much money is at stake?
Completely agree. Judging by NSC tonight, you'd think we were bottom three and just conceded when playing against ten men. Fact is, if the referee had done his job today and disallowed their second goal, we'd be six points clear at the top now.
Are you seriously saying your first post wasn't a rant? Seriously?
Also, the comment it seems the opposition have no problem doing this against us would require you to give examples. We failed to beat Wolves and only drew with Bolton. Surely this isn't the basis for your post? You must have...
Sorry, when was the last time we had ten men or played against them before last week? It didn't happen for a while before that. Your rant is pointless and completely bizarre. From your post it sounds like it happens every week when it's happened once each way over the last fortnight.
Also, you...
What a bizarre post. It's happened twice, once last weekend when we couldn't break down Wolves who sat 10 men behind the ball and the other way round when we let in a last minute equaliser (when Bolton have nothing to lose). Today is without our two top scorers.
Also, if you're getting so...
Pretty much picks itself, doesn't it? Only question is Murphy or Rosenior on the right. I think he'll go with Rosenior. Wolves may not have had a great start but they're still a threat (especially as they're not playing this midweek due to their game at Fulham being called off).
Yes, I thought yesterday that we're going to Wolves (the eighth game of the season) with more points than we did last season (the 22nd game). Amazing turn around from last year.
Very harsh original post. Glad everyone else has put him right. That could have been fair comment (although still a bit harsh) at Ipswich but yesterday Zamora contributed really well, especially a brilliant pass out to the wing for Murphy in the build up to Kayal's blocked shot late on. We...
I was shocked that there were people on here who would have sold Stephens to Derby when we had the offer. He and Kayal are hugely important in the team and have formed a great partnership.
That could be true but there's now no way in to the starting 11 for Ince as the others are playing so well. There will be injuries and suspensions though and, as you say, he has real potential so I'm sure he'll get his chance.
