The currency and the single market are two completely separate things, so listing the benefits of the single market simply wouldn't make any sense as an argument/logic to join the Euro.
Or were you just jumping to a massive generalisation because that's easier when you're in the anti-EU camp?
Because they're different debates?
Because I (and others in the Remain camp) believe that Remaining in the EU is better for the British economy than leaving it, and that keeping Sterling as our currency is better for it than joining the Euro....?
On the final day two years ago, Burnley did us a favour and let us sneak into the playoffs by taking a point off Reading. Given the game meant nothing to them, they could have just turned up for the party and not bothered.
Maybe it is irrelevant now but I find it hard to hate them quite as much...
We will be promoted if we overhaul either Burnley or Middlesbrough. Yes, catching Burnley is more likely but why on earth would you wish away either option?!
The table doesn't lie: us, Boro & Burnley are the three best teams in this division - and if football was fair then whichever missed out on the top two would win the playoffs.
However, if we make the top 2, then I'd like somebody like Cardiff or Wednesday to get lucky in the playoffs, solely...
I think this point alone shows how pointless it is to compare to previous years.
3 more wins will only be enough either if Burnley drop 9 points out of the 15 available to them, or Boro drop 11 points out of the 18 available to them. I just cannot see either of those happening.
The betting markets currently have it as 67% chance of Remain v 33% chance of Leave. One of you could make a fortune if you follow how certain you are...
It's huge, but if we draw it WON'T be the end of the season. Our next three games are VERY winnable, while Burnley & Boro play each other, giving us the chance to get right back into it.
Blimey, don't show Neil Lennon this thread, apparently football in Britain is "'too honest' when it comes to football diving": http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03q7vll
Personally, I'd be in favour of one match bans for diving - which can be applied by review after the game whatever the ref gave...
Rickie Fowler @ 16/1
Justin Rose @ 25/1
Hideki Matsuyama @ 35/1
Graeme McDowell @ 200/1 (I know)
All small E/W bets (on SkyBet paying top 8).
It'll probably be on of the big three, but where's the fun in backing them at such short odds?

I was getting more than a little excited as Splash of Ginge lead the first circuit of the last - but I probably shouldn't have been that ambitious! Still, £33 up for the day is never a bad result :drink:
Now just need to decide which horse I should use to give it all back to SkyBet tomorrow.....
That has Burnley picking up only 9 more points all season! Interesting that they only picked up 1 point per game from those opponents earlier in the season - implies they have a tough run in? - but I'm sure they'll do better than that.
Indeed, but it was the football that had to give way, not Southern Rail. With Sky wanting the game, surely it has to go ahead? If so, we're relying on Southern being more accommodating than they were in December...
