If I'm carrying work stuff (either paperwork/iPad/laptop) or my camera, then yes - though I keep my wallet, phone & keys in my pockets whether or not I'm using the bag.
No. Man Utd, Man City & Arsenal off the top of my head have spent more on individual players than we have spent in total.
Edit: a very quick look over the stats on transfermarkt.co.uk suggests we're about 13th.
I've very probably missed this somewhere in the thread... but does this offence cover having an illegal bicycle, or is the conviction for the way/speed he was riding it?
...or as bad as the national media made it out to be. I must admit neither scoreline really upset me - losing 2-0 in either of those games is nothing to be afraid of - but a lot of the reports affected how positive I feel for the season, with them making out that we really did do nothing at all...
I think I'd be feeling pretty desperate... if I didn't remember that the Davy Propper deal came out of absolutely nowhere from our perspective, proving that actually us not knowing of any imminent signings means absolutely nothing about what is actually close to being done.
Bit more detail... I've copied and pasted the numbers into Excel, then sorted highest to lowest; they had the 38th highest average last year. But you're right that their own page gives a different answer - how weird.
Looking at the numbers on http://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/ranking-table/men/index.html, they have the 38th highest average for 2016, and the 19th highest for 2015.
Perfect - definitely be settled in Brighton by the time we play West Brom on 9th :lolol:
There's definitely potential that we've got a proper gem here though - fingers crossed...
After Watford, there's a 2 week gap over the International break which should help...... depending on how many of our squad are called away for it anyway. Are Ghana playing in that break?
Make pedestrians carry it too - the single most dangerous thing I see when cycling is pedestrians just stepping into the road without looking. Presumably they do this because they can't hear any cars so assume it must be safe (either that or they just don't care).
Not sure what you'd...
Fair enough. As I say, not defending either, but as above there is a big difference in how dangerous the actions are. It would be interesting to see how they split (if you had those stats too).
Neither allowed; both fair game for criticism; one significantly even more dangerous than the other - flying through a zebra crossing without caring if anybody is crossing is clearly far more dangerous than trundling over it when you are sure there is nobody crossing.
Genuine question, not that I'm defending either: do you distinguish between cyclists that stop at red lights, have a good look, and then trundle though it having deciding it's safe because there are no pedestrians crossing - and those that just ignore them and fly through?
Blimey, does driving distort people's view of speed, or something? It may not feel like it in a car, but 30mph is fast.
The fastest ever Tour de France stage was - according to Wikipedia - a 2013 time trial, with an average speed of 35.8mph. By a professional. On a top-of-the-range specialist...
Including cyclists? I do have one on mine, but that's a hell of an ask for all cyclists... it's hard enough remembering to charge the bloody thing every day, let alone forcing everyone else to buy one
