this is the thing though. the likes of villa and newcastle don’t need to rotate as much as they can just go and spend £80M in january if they need new bodies that badly. I hope we spend a bit in january but it most likely won’t be anywhere near the likes of others. therefore a longer term play...
(i know this isn’t what the thread is about but it kind of works in reverse) the only negative i can think of his how we often (not all night) failed to challenge brentford players from set pieces. other than that, everything was good, hard fought win
only fair to say after my earlier posts, he was very good tonight. missed the possible red but that wasn’t obvious on-field, and a dodgy yellow against buonanotte, but otherwise a very good performance, kept control well
just thinking about it, speaks to pascal groß’s ability and longevity that he’s gone from assisting albion old-timers like murray to kids like hinshelwood, over the years
poor first half all things considered. couple of moments of real quality but other than that, very passive. don’t know if it’s just because of my bias, but i can’t comprehend how every time a team attacks us they look lethal, compared to when we attack, we look like we haven’t got a clue
