I don’t think Maty Ryan’s record was much better. 2 saved out of 17 a quick Google shows (they were definitely saved rather than missed).

26 penalties against us in the Prem and 22 scored. That works out as 15-16% missed or saved, which from another quick google appears to be a bit below par.

One of those was at Stoke when Dunk hacked down the oncoming attacker on the rebound. No VAR, so no new penalty and perhaps sending off.

Chelsea fan on the radio on drive home was scathing about Sanchez. He’ll not last the season. As no1 I suspect. Just checked his pen save. Awful pen to be fair but he went the right way and finally saved one.
